I buy from Careit at least twice monthly, for years, awesome food and service IMHO and experience. Recent I picked up marinated rib eye steaks for the BBQ (nothing like BBQ'ing in the cold). These steaks were amongst the best steaks I have had... and I have had steak in every corner of this wonderful province of Alberta. Wow and THANKS!
I wanted to like it here, it is conveniently located if you want to grab a side to complete your meal or when you don't feel like cooking at all. Unfortunately, for their prices, it has been hit and miss, sometimes not a wide selection of grab and go items, or I have had to throw away food with off flavours
Got both regular and gluten-free dinners for Xmas. All was ready at the appointed time. The staff were upbeat and the food was excellent.Cant wait for round two.Thank you Careit
Best ready to go sandwiches / paninis in the city, I went to the Downtown location the most that closed. This location is good too.
Great Service and Food is second to none.
Some of the best made from scratch soups in Edmonton. Love the turkey chowder & beef barley. Flavor is on point and you can tell they use fresh bone broth in the soups. Quality ingredients.
Rude lady, not a vegan or vegetarian place at all. Straight up told me it's basically gonna be a meat burger
Have bought the butter chicken a couple times this 3 months and both times had maybe 2 bites of chicken in it. For the price what a shame. Food labeled Gluten free but staff unsure about it being celiac safe is worrisome. Pasta dishes are bland and again for the price some seasoning would be nice. Convenience doesn't have to taste bland. Male staff are rude. But ladies are very nice.
I've stopped by a couple times for their fresh paninis. I had the chipotle chicken last time and it was amazing. The price for lunch is very fair for what you are getting. I'll definitely be heading back into the neighborhood!
Staff and management is rude and food is way over priced. Don't recommend. Go somewhere else like IGA.
