I came in today during my lunch break to use my Coffee Pass (just under the wire!). The gentleman at the counter was so friendly and kind! I had the Pink Moon Latte which was earthy and not too sweet. The baklava was delicious as well. It's a large space and nicely decorated. Definitely a hidden gem in the West end. I'll visit again when I'm in the area, for sure! Thanks again for your excellent customer service. :)
Food here was delicious (didnt even get to snap a pick before I ate half of it ?) I got a london fog and a kunafa -it was very tasty! I was a tad thrown off with whatever they sprinkled on the top of my london fog...perhaps nutmeg?? It was grainy. Not enough to take off a star or not finish my drink but just something to note if you are a big texture person like me. My partner got a flat white and he enjoyed it. Owner of the cafe is hilarious and personable. The aesthetic and vibes of this place are top tier as well. Will definitely be back here for a girls coffee date!
I'm honestly so happy that you guys are here! I love having alternatives to Starbucks and would way rather support small businesses! I really enjoy having somewhere I can walk to and your location is gorgeous! The coffee is amazing and the donuts from fusion are delicious. I'm super excited to have a beautiful place to meet up with friends. ❤️
Step in to a chill, welcoming space. The first thing one notices is the dramatic cerulean blue furniture (which also happens to be supremely comfortable) and a fantastic minimalist, modern coffee bar. Offerings include all standard caffeinated assortments, a few unique takes on tea style drinks (pink moon latte sounds like an interesting choice!) and some exquisite locally made boutique donuts.
I was in this area and wanted to take a drink and answer some emails before an appointment I had nearby; this place was the perfect spot to do that. It is a hidden gem, nice atmosphere, and great staff. Good coffee. I wish they had a few more selection of sandwiches and bagels but maybe it was the time of the day. I would definitely come back.
We randomly stopped in there today and had the most amazing experience. Atmosphere was perfect. The design was trendy and classic. It was intimate and comfortable. The menu was easy to chose from. But the owner made the whole experience exceptional. The minute we walked in, Ala made us feel so welcomed. Can’t wait to go back here! It’s our new favourite coffee shop!
Definitely one of the best cafe in Edmonton! I almost don't want this cafe to get more popular just because I loooove here, but I recommend this place for 100% The owner is super nice too.
I live right next to this place. It’s the type of coffee place you want to have a coffee at. They got decent coffee (little strong but that’s okay), snacks like sandwiches, cookies, muffins, or soups (chilli on Tuesdays), stuff like that. The cafe itself is very very beautiful, very clean.For the most part, the staff was always good to me. There was a male staff member who gave me suggestions and had really positive vibes. I only gave it three stars because today as I walked in there for just a single coffee the lady told me to wait so I did. After standing around for a while at the till a customer came up from her table went to the side of the till, asked for another Tea and the lady behind the till stopped everything she was doing, made her a tea and then went right back to what she was doing. She can make her known customers a drink but I have to wait..?I’m not sure why that happened but it really made me feel like a cheap less than average customer ???♂️ I don’t go to places that treat their family, friends or whoever that was to her better than their customers. I go to businesses that consider everyone a customer equally.After she made the tea for that customer she looked at me, when I looked at her she looked away. Then later on as she’s still not making my coffee she says “sorry I’m *inaudible* “. So I just say “it’s okay”, smile and continue waiting… and waiting.. and waiting.. finally I just turned around and left. She just watched me walk out ??♂️Won’t be going here anymore and frankly I don’t think anyone else should either if you’re not family or friends or known to the owner.
By far one of our favorite places to grab a coffee in Edmonton. The taste is amazing, owner is fantastic, and the decor is terrific! Cannot recommend it enough.
The aesthetic of the cafe is beautiful! Friendly staff and nice selection of food/drinks. Tried the pink moon latte and honestly it was not my favourite, very milky with little other flavour. But would definitely return to try something different!
