The place looks rundown but don’t let that fool you the food is wonderful !
I’m so disappointed that the Bul Go Gi House has decided to decrease their portion size and increase their prices without updating the restaurant. This restaurant has been our go to Korean restaurant since 1986. Always was great food, always great prices, not so great decor. Now it’s great food, high prices, same decor.
Ordered kimchi jjigae and beef bulgogi from skip, $20 each item thought it was going to have a good amount of serving turns out it was a scam, container is nowhere near decent size, beef bulgogi is mostly just vegs the beef you can eat in one scoop. First time I felt scammed ordering food and I've had some bad experiences but not like this. Forgot to check the ratings in skip which was in the lower 8's. Food tasted average nothing special about it. Overall NOT WORTH.
I spend every birthday at this place for two simple reasons.- Their food is absolutely amazing- The staff are the friendliest and quickest I could ever ask for.Its not an understatement to say I love the bulgogi house. They treat you like family here.
Our experience was consistent with recent reviews. It is expensive for what you get. Portion sizes were small. A lot of cabbage and lack of quality vegetables. The food tasted okay. We ordered take out and no one wanted to take the leftovers home. It was not worth the high prices therefore we will not return. Interior is very dated and is in need of updating.
The owner Sue was an absolute gem. Had a wonderful date night with my husband eating Korean food for the first time. Looking forward to going back and trying more! Everything was delicious ?
I've been coming to Bulgogi house for 30 years. They no longer have a menu you can hold , you have to Scan one on your phone and God help you if you have small children and are trying to order. For myself having a menu to look over is part of the dining experience. They have done nothing with the decor in years but have in the last few years raised prices beyond the value of the food , and even the commentary Kim chi has gone to nothing. Also the deep fried wonton was reheated and cold. I will not be back.
My parents have been going to this restaurant for years and we decided to eat in for old times sake. Usually I love the food at Bulgogi house, but today's meal seemed bland and it seems the prices have gone up for a lot of their items. I love the side dishes that come with the meals, but when we asked the server for an extra helping, she let out a big, exasperated sigh as she grabbed us more bean sprouts. I have been to Bulgogi house many times and have had many friendly encounters with staff. This is the first time I have had a bad experience here and I won't be going back.
poor service, hesitated of provinding tops up on rice annd side dishes. JapChae was too sweet, teriyaki chicken too dry ..yook kae jang was too salty...only good dish was Galbi which was really costly. For 6 dishes...our bill was $180.00 without tips. Sorry Bulgogi house but your service and quality of food has gone down the drain...not going back.
Great food and service, 100% reccomend and will come back.
