As a veteran of the restaurant industry it is a rare treat when a place hits all of the marks. From the time my wife and I walked in until we left the service and atmosphere were impeccable. Food was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. Music was the perfect volume and we weren’t over or under served. The final bill was surprisingly low at $77 for 4 cocktails and 2 meals. A very rare treat indeed. Almost afraid to go back as it would be a tough feat to repeat. Kudos to the owners, management, and staff. Well done.
Stopped by for a casual quick work lunch. This place is great. Friendly owner and staff, totally spotless, really nice washrooms and decor, and most importantly, excellent pub fare. The spicy crispy chicken sandwich is so good, though perhaps not a spicy as the name suggests. Been here twice now and had the same meal, it was just as great as the first time.
Atmosphere was nice. Service was poor. I literally felt pushed out the door despite there being many open tables and plenty of other customers. I was dining alone but I was brought a bill before being asked if I wanted a second drink (I ordered one) and again as soon as my second drink was low I was given my bill. Not sure why I was treated this way. I won't be back.
It was my first time going there. It is a pub/restaurant place. Nice atmosphere inside, making it a cozy place to enjoy myself. Excellent service, tasty burgers and fries. I didn't have a beer, but the price was tempting. I heard the desserts are excellent. The downside: parking downtown sucks (it is not the restaurant's fault).
I’ve driven by Browns Crafthouse for months and finally made the time to stop in over Easter. I’m so happy I did!Seated in the corner by the window for people watching and to enjoy the over all ambiance of the restaurant. Industrial style high ceilings, steel railings and open concept. The booth was comfy , so no worries there. The server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Once ordering the tuna salad (that both my gf and I ordered) she mentioned it just returned to the menu. Apparently the tuna is imported from Japan and for a time they had trouble getting it in. Luckily it’s back and can confirm it’s delicious! Citrus/ginger dressing with chunks of mango, slices of tuna and crispy noodle for the perfect crunch. As for the tuna pressed sushi, a touch spicy and I wouldn’t change a thing. Tuna melts in your mouth - perfection! Smoked pineapple margarita was sweet enough but flavourful enough you could still enjoy the taste of the tequila. Ask for a straw at this place if you need one. They’ll happily oblige. All and all I will return to enjoy more of the menu and maybe make a night out of it with some friends. Great vibes all around!
Went here on a whim and expected regular bar food quality, but was pleasantly surprised by how joocy this spicy sandwich was. So good.
Awesome Space, great menu with so many varied options, all of which were fantastic. The Local beer offered represents lots of our shining breweries and most of all, the staff and manager were so kind and accommodating for our large group, especially when changes had to be made.
Love the look and feel of this place. Food was great. I forgot my wallet in the booth and a waitress ran it out to me in the snow. Nice dinner date!
Got to check this place for the first time on new year's eve. It's a nice interior with some cozy booths, as well as some tv's if looking to watch some sports. From the moment I went in, was greeted and seated to a table. They have plexiglass around the booths and following all covid rules. This is part of the Brown's franchise so they have some of the same food, but also a few unique ones not served at Brown's. Was very happy to see they have my fave here, the crispy chicken burger. IMO the best chicken burger bar none! Service was awesome, friendly and always coming by to check on things and refill our water. They have happy hour 2-6 and 9 to closing. Brown's by my house is my fave go to place for drinks and eats with friends, but love this place too and will definitely come back in the future.
Very good food, huge craft beer selection. Knowledgeable server. Food was good and hot when brought out in a timely manner. Even had a good soundtrack playing. ?First time here and it was a very positive experience.
