Organic and diet sensitive foods are easily obtained and we'll displayed. My fave is the bakery counter where the items are so fresh. How about getting some cream topped yogurt that is an excellent snack for breakfast with your cereal or fruits. That have a lot of properly raised animal products.
I have issues with histamine intolerance that cause me to have dietary restrictions. Most of the items I need to cook I only found on Amazon for exorbitant prices. I took a chance and went to Blush to see if they had anything ... this is now my grocery store of choice! Mostly everything I need is at a fair price and they do tend to have items on sale regularly. I never see mold on food like I do at commercial chains and the clerks are chatty and kind! If I had one complaint it would be the aisles are a little narrow, but given it's location and store space, it can't be helped! Ignore the bad reviews, they're by people throwing temper tantrums when we had the mask mandate and being told a firm "no". Good riddance to them I say! I don't want that kind of person around my chronically ill self while I'm shopping. I, a disabled woman will wear a mask to ensure that all the wonderful folks at Blush will stay safe, irregardless if I am exempted during restrictions. If you don't mind the price and are in need of specific ingredients or meals for dietary needs, Blush ia the place to shop!
Update: April 29 2022: To date, I have spent shy of $4000.00 with your competitors, since I placed my review. Your loss; Their gain.I reckon I'll never step foot nor shop again at your store/company.I will no longer be a patron at your store. I was asked to replace my linen/mesh face barrier and don a disposable “mask.”Although I’m medically except (w/ authentic documentation on my person ), I wore my sanctioned face barrier (as per Bylaw 19408) out of respect for fellow patrons; moreover, I just had dental work above moments ago, and harbouring a face barrier thereafter was unacceptable and not advised by my DDS.I arrived at your location to grab some soft and cool foods to ease the pain and offer comfort. What I experienced today by your staff is detestable and is an aberration from current COE and CMOH mandates. Before your staff start “policing”, they should be formally empowered and equipped with how to address peoples and know what they are enforcing.Your company should be blushing with embarrassment and shame for your corporate policies. The pleasantries I received in asking to comply is overshadowed by Blush Lanes’ ill adopted shopping protocol. Your staff should have quietly inquired rather than jump straight into the law and been so “legal” in their deportment.Your customer service and experience is found wanting.Goodbye!
I love shopping at Blush Lane. Their produce is top-notch, their pricing is competitive, and they have lots of gluten free goodies for my celiac son. Plus, they always manage to find the best coffee creamers. :)
A great place to acquire a wide array of organic, eco-friendly food and produce. The also carry many locally produced items. Parking can be challenging during peak hours. Also, prices tend to be a little high so look for deals/coupons.
I love organic foods. I was shopping at Blush Market yesterday after going for a rapid test immediately before that. In Blush I kept pulling my mask down to see things better, because I know I’m negative and because I feel that masks are humiliating. There was security there monitoring if people were wearing masks. She came over to me and said “Miss, you need to wear your mask at all times.” I will be shopping someone else now. Where is our freedom of rights? I was negative. If they are trying to protect me from others, I am very able to make that decision myself.
I love Sunworks Farm products! Such high quality meat and eggs. I’m happy I can come here weekly to purchase their products. It’s really the only reason why I go to Blush Lane! But Blush Lane does have some amazing products too!
The best selection of local and organic products in Edmonton with fantastic staff! I shop here every.single.week and I'm SO thankful for their existence. I only wish they were closer to me, but I will absolutely drive across the city every week to get my groceries from here.
I waited until I was behind the plexi glass and still stepped back to 6 ft before I pulled my mask an inch from my face for my inhalation to ease the lightheadedness and heart palp I get while wearing masks too long and was told very disapproving that rhere is a city wide mandate and won't be served with it off.... literally. Pulled it off to be able to spend the next 2 mins paying for my groceries because of my asthma and qas domiciled I'll never go back. The lack of compassion for people with different issues is crazy.
