The food at Bistro Praha is awesome! I will recommend this place to all my friends and family! Julie was our server and she is so friendly and helpful! We came as a group of 2 people. Julie made the arrangement to make sure that we can try out everything we want to have. We had fried breaded cheese, rack of lamb, Wiener Schnitzel, Beef Goulash, and Banana crepe! All of them are super good and yummy! Lamb is covered with cumin and garlic, it’s so aromatic and yummy!!! Wiener Schnitzel is one of my favourite! Please come to visit this place, you will be supersized with their amazing food! The price is very reasonable for their portion size and service!
It was excellent experience, with great and tasty European cousine. After 5 years in Canada I finally found Czech restaurant with authentic atmosphere. Service was best, friendly and fast!
I saw a review where the person ranted about the horrible disgusting food - seems he perhaps has a personal vendetta rather than actually having had the food! The food is consistently amazing and delicious, the schnitzel is light and airy and melts in our mouth - the steak tartar is the best in the city in my opinion and all the dishes i have ever had are tasty and presented beautifully ( i have an addiction to the breaded cheese)! It is central European food, i would never say i have ever had anything greasy but it is hearty - this is a gem in Edmonton and a place that never ever disapoints!

Wow what a gem we happened upon! The menu is large, the food amazing and the atmosphere so charming and European. I loved the classical music playing, the smaller quiet ambiance, and the healthy portion sizes. Will definitely recommend and return!
What an awesome find. The outside looks plain. Don't let that fool you. The décor is old world, stylish, with lots of wood. The service is old-world class, with deep knowledge about products and wine, and instant attention to needs. The menu is extensive, with great variety. Our group ordered a variety, including an amazing steak tartar, a soup that was the best I've had in years, fish that was perfectly prepared, and sides that shone. The desserts are nothing short of spectacular. Do not hesitate. You must add this place to your list of restaurants to try. For business, friends or couples, you will impress your guests with your taste in restaurants. And, prices are very reasonable given the quality of food. This is our new favourite when visiting Edmonton. We will be back, often.
After eating at several restaurants we always left feeling disappointed. NOT WITH BISTRO PRAHA. Absolutely fabulous. The portion sizes are huge.......everything was cooked and presented beautifully. Best meal we have had in a very long time. You better have loose clothing ......the appetizers themselves were a meal! You can order half meals.....which were like a full meal in other restaurants. I will go back, and back and back again as `i want to try everything. All four of us felt the same way.

Delicious food in a lovely European restaurant. Playing classical music whilst eating tasty eastern European fare reminded us of many meals in Europe (not that music is played in European restaurants, but it helped to create the atmosphere). The friendly and helpful service enhanced the experience even further.
A beautiful cozy spot in an unassuming building downtown. You walk in and are warmly greeted and made to feel at home. A diverse range of diners when we went, some families, some young couples, some young at heart. We enjoyed the Prague Egg (loved the potato salad) and smoked salmon to start. I would recommend the egg over the salmon which wasn't anything you haven't experienced elsewhere. Mains were the pork shoulder and chicken Alcron. With sauerkraut of course! (Delish). The highlight was the Valentine's dessert of raspberry mousse. Exquisite!
