World’s hardest chicken balls! Decent selection of food. Sushi, vegetable, and dessert sections were my favourite. Very pleasant staff and a reasonable price. Nice decor. Recommended if you’re looking for a basic and affordable buffet.
Seeing as how its been 8 years since my last review, might as well update. we got home from the lake late sunday afternoon (yesterday), and weather was not great for BBQing, so we decided to grab some take out. we get take-out/delivery from here a few times a year when we need to scratch the chinese food itch. this time was simple dinner for two, and added a side of green onion cakes. (dinner for two includes wonton soup, a couple spring rolls, chicken fried rice and you get to pick two specific entrees...dinner for three/four/six/etc is same with more entrees per dinner size....this time we picked ginger beef and pineapple chicken) everything was fresh and hot, and there was more than enough for us to have leftovers. i would classify the food as typical north-americanized chinese food. all the standards youd find at a typical chinese buffet, but nothing super fancy or out of the ordinary. but, consistently good service, tasty food, decent portions, and the fact they have free delivery (or 10% off if you pick up) makes for a good option. very easy to recommend and sure we will be ordering again. (should be noted we've only ever done take-out/delivery so cant comment on eat-in or the like).
My family and I went today, June 4. All of us had a great time.The service was great and the food was even better. We order from the menu, that way we have leftovers. Can't have Chinese food without leftovers. Good job y'all!
We love going in to Beijing because one of the owners knows my Mom from her work at a bank before she retired.We go to support her friend and the food. It's great value for families to attend and there's awesome desserts and an ice cream machine for the kids.I personally think they have the best orange chicken and peaches and cream shrimp in the entire city.Give them a try and thank me after you fall in love with them.
Everytime we go here, it's wonderful!Always a lot of food, which is kind of the point of a buffet. ?The food is usually pretty fresh too, and it gets restocked fairly quickly. Never run into issues here to be honest.Definitely recommend this one if you like Chinese food, and a good variety of it. They also have some other foods, which is also good!
The food was really tasty and pretty good quality. Drink selection was decent and everything was a very fair price.Food took awhile to be refilled.Once we were seated no waiter showed up to our table to offer water or a drink menu. I made eye contact with a few and tried to hail them but none stopped at the table. After about 15 minutes we had to actually physically go up to a waiter and asked to be given water.
Nothing to eat there, only cheap and deep fried meat, very limited food choices. Worst buffet I have ever had. I have never written bad reviews to any restaurant, I am not picky on most foods. But this restaurant does not worth a try. I don’t mind they charge more on Mother’s Day because most buffets charge more on holidays. But most buffets will offer more selections on holidays. This restaurant only charge more but does nothing on holidays.
If I could give less than 1 star, I would! The food was uncooked and disgusting - the chow mein tasted awful - the lemon chicken was dry and gross. The manager tried blaming it on skip the dishes when obviously the restaurant didn’t cook it properly. They rushed it and it was terrible. Never coming here again and I suggest unless you want food poisoning, you don’t either! Awful place. Awful service. Awful food.
Had very much enjoyed thus the wiĺlingness to drove all the way from south Edmonton many times for lunch. Went Saturday was greatly disappointed. Food was cold waitress asked after a while how was things told her food was cold and she simply said Oh and walked away. From past good meals to cold food and uncaring attitude don't expect to go back. To far to travel to be brushed off and pay for cold food and not even sorry or will find out why.
