The person who takes the orders on the phone for pick up, is extremely rude and passive aggressive. He hung up on me and I had to call back, before I could say anything he said “Ya ya buddy 10min bye” and hung up again. He also refused to list the toppings he had for shawarma, I had asked him 3x and he repeatedly said “whatever you want”, but how do I know what I want when you won’t tell me what toppings you have? As a server at a restaurant, regardless if the menu is posted in-front of customers, if they ask me what toppings or what kind of food we have, I’m going to list everything, no question and no hesitation, because that’s what customer service is about.

We tried the falafel wrap and chicken shawarma. Taste was decent. Quality and quantity was also okayish. For the price, i think the size of wrap should be a lil better. It was 3/5 experience.
Had the worst Sasquatch Donaire from here. Seems like the lady just didn't put the effort into making a good one this time for some reason. Do better
Worst shawarma restaurant ever. I ordered chicken shawarma and They gave me flat top cooked chicken, which was not even cooked properly. There garlic sauce was very bad in taste. I came to Edmonton as tourist but Basha Donair & shawarma disappointed me too much.
I visited this place a year or two ago and the staff was friendly and nice and portions and food was fresh.THIS visit... they actually warmed up my food in the microwave. They just kinda plate the food together don't acknowledge you. Just take your order and prep it in the back. Kinda worrying. Nonetheless the meat was tough and definitely not Mediterranean. I won't come back. I'm sure the Donair poutine is good but for the lack of customer service it's not worth it. One girl was nice but the cashier just kinda blank. Oh and of course I found a hair in my salad. Kinds disappointing. I get it mistakes happen business isn't booming but just at least smile be happy. Don't just say have a good day and not mean it. I definitely didn't eat the rest.
Very much enjoy the donairs prepared by Basha. Kind, friendly staff. Clean, and very well organized. I have tried near all their items on their menu, from the neatly named donairs (a good array of fixings also! from red or white onions, pickles, peppers, and sweet or garlic sauces), their yummy fries, and their poutine. Highly recommended. Very good portions.
