I ate there twice. Once someone got me food. the other I went in.. fast food service.. The food does taste ok. However, I have never been to a burrito or taco place before, That didn’t rinse their beans (black or any colour they use)!!! They legit scoop a slop of beens and slime from the can, on your food. Gross. They are pretty cheap on the meat too. Better off ordering from a meal prep company. For cheaper.
Yesterday i went to bar burrito with my friends as one of my friend recommended. The environment was good , i waited for few minutes as it was busy. Great bowl and Customer service was excellent. I have been helped with by a guy I asked him to make my bowl and he did what i asked for and recommended me other options. I recommend this place to my family and other friends. Will be back there soon.
Went to Bar Burrito in Albany Edmonton this past Saturday as I’ve never tried it before. Walked in and the guy behind the counter used his left hand to put his mask on then put his hand in the red onions without changing his glove after putting his mask on then he did the same to the tomatoes and jalapeños. As I’m watching him he was talking on his phone and telling me one minute. After 5 minutes I walked out and said don’t worry about it. He crossed contaminated four times in front of me he would truly benefit from a food safe course and if he already has it he needs to implement food safe. I’ll never go back to that place. Food safe is lacking along with terrible customer service.-Chef
I went there today for lunch And it was one of the worst experiences in that store I ordered a chicken and pork bowl. It was literally empty. And i paid for exta meat. Got a barely 1scoop of rice half scoop of beans half scoop of chicken and maybe a barely another half scoop of pork. Very disappointing..
Visited on Saturday late evening ( almost their closing, my bad) but thankfully was able to enjoy my burrito bowl. Thanks to the amazing lady who was more than happy to serve. Will visit again.
Great food and good value. Always fresh. Would definitely recommend!
This place is continually going down hill.I ordered and paid for a fully loaded fries. I got home, opened my meal and it was just fries. I called back to inform them of their mistake and they were very rude and not accommodating at all.At the very least, offer me an apology.
Probably one of the worse experiences ever,, called to speak to the restaurant about a order they had gotten wrong and the supervisor spent 20 minutes arguing with me. Admitted they had messed up on my order but refused to do anything about it, offered me a .50 cent side sauce next time i placed an order. Needless to say my daughters dinner was ruined. What ever you do go to a different location. My family loved eating at barBURRITO before and this wasn't the first time our orders where wrong but the way we were spoken to and insulted by being offered a side of sauce on our next purchase was ridiculous. Save your money and eat elsewhere.
First time ordering here for my mom and I. I was excited. Normally I love these kinds of bowls when I make it so thought I’d try it somewhere cause it’s always better when someone else makes it, right? I ordered online and picked it up. Getting into the car I already had a feeling the order wasn’t as I asked. There is a place for “instructions” when ordering online but it wasn’t followed.. I had asked for salsa to be separate on the side. But there was nothing “on the side” so I thought maybe the ToGo ramekin was inside the container. But it was not. And neither bowl had salsa in it. When coming home - Unfortunately pictures are always deceiving - First impression: it looks like everything was just slopped in there. Then going to mix it, black beans was the majority of the bowls. I get it, it’s cheap and don’t have to use as much of the other ingredients. But when your bowl turns completely purple/black, due to the amount of beans, it’s pretty unappetizing. Do not recommend and will not be going back. I’ll stick to making it myself.
I enjoyed my burrito here. Even though COVID restrictions have been lifted, they have decided not to put out tables to eat at. Only a couple dirty tables for delivery drivers to sit at while waiting. It did not have a inviting feel to the place. Decent value for the food. Staff were polite and did a good job.
