I would give it 4.5 star to this place. We ordered the Baekjeong Combo for 2 and sliced beef tongue. All meats were great in big portion. I specially like its ventilation with minimum smell on our clothes when we left. Service was good, place is very spacious too. Will definitely come back again whenever I wanna a Korean BBQ.
Absolutely amazing authentic Korean food. Everytime we're in Edmonton, we drive by here for a quick bite. We recently found out that they are expanding to Calgary, can't wait.My favorite dish, their Korean steamed eggs, such a comfort food!Excellent service and friendly staff.
Good, a little pricy, but tasty food—a fun group experience, the food is rich and flavourful and it’s fun to cook the meat. Lots of tasty sides, and main meals are around $16.The meat to cook is around $20-$30 for each platter.With 5 people splitting 2 meat dishes and each getting a meal, it came to around $26 for each of us, and while food tasted great, I didn’t find it very filling.To be honest, I thought it was a little pricy: the kimchi soup with rice and tofu (M7) is quite light and is mainly kimchi, and is the same price as the other bowls that have lots of meat/sustenance. M11 and M12 are definitely a lot more filling.The interior is very pretty! Good for groups.Not my favourite place, but the servers were very nice!At the end we got free yogurt drinks :-)
My daughter and me visited here on Father’s Day. It was pretty busy, so we sat half an hour before the server came to take our order. We order a combo of 2 people. It’s lot of foods, and the quality was good. So it’s totally worth of the waiting.
Just an absolute WOW, this place is Korean BBQ perfection. Everything we ate was exceptional, I love steak and the premium beef platter was amazing. The Ddukbbokie threw the meal over the top, two men couldn't finish the meal!
The food were great , no doubt about it.I am still giving this with a 3 star because of disappointment with the service and the 15% mandatory gratuity.It's not a problem for us to spend money on food and services, we always visit places like this to introduce it to our friends amd relatives and yes, we always wanted them to try what we have tried but with the service we get and the mandatory 15% gratuity, I think is not fair on our part.The food was long table for 8 person but we divided the orders and bill into 2 separate, so it'll be 2:6, we placed our order to our lady server (sounds like she is rushing up, because maybe she needed also to attend other tables, I assume)And so just to make the story short, our orders are mixed up and with missing items, no napkins to begin with, ask water couple times while we are in the middle of eating our food. Request for a high chair that we took it ourselves from the side where it sits because we know our lady server were also attending other tables and busy (that's why we understand).And the end of our dinner, upon paying the bill we get this 15% mandatory gratuity fpr the service which is unfair on our part. Spending money from the service that we think we didn't get properly.Only one good thing I'd like to commend were the staff from the kitchen who prepares our dinner. You guys are amazing, the food quality meet my expectations beyond expectations.We will be back and hopefully get a service that is worth of a 15% mandatory gratuity.
New fave alert!!! This is by far my fave korean place... My go-to? BULGOGI!! This is YUM! I loved that they provide you with side dishes and sauces - sprouts, kimchi, onions, radish, salad and a basket of lettuce! The basket of lettuce is unlimited! We didn't order rice. We did lettuce wrapped all grilled meat. Their soup are delish too! After you are done eating they will give you a free probiotic drink. Which I wish they could give more ? -- OVERALL? YUM!!! LOVE IT! Will go back here definitely!
Great place to eat Korean BBQ!! I already spent a thousand in this place. It's a bit expensive but the food and service is magnificent. Definitely money's worth and tummys worth haha
Dined in tonight between 5-6pm May 2nd, I went to the washroom and when i’m going back to my table I saw one of the server drinking bottled beer like it was normal. I didnt know that this place let their staff drink while working, I also heard this guy swear too much! My server was great and food that’s the only reason i gave two stars. but I am not coming back because of this environment, drinking server with strong language is not good for my kids. Management and owners check your camera if you have some unless this is normal in this restaurant too tolerate this kind of act of your staff.
The food was amazing. Portions are very appropriate and on the high end of how much food I could stuff in my face hole.The kimchi stew was lovely, the other food on the menu is amazing too.
