What a vibe! Love the speakeasy-style bookcase entryway and creative cocktails. We had great service and delicious drinks. The HWY 2 was a fave for us both. The mushroom frites were deadly too. Great atmosphere and a cool place to grab a drink and appie. Just removed one star because of the limited food menu. But overall, thoroughly enjoyed! Worth the nightmare of finding downtown parking ;)

been previously (pre-COVID) & had a different experience this time aroundit was fairly quite in comparison to last time-but took our server about 10mins to greet us; going forward we had approx. 3 different servers...we triedthe $25 alchemist (a delicious suprise)the no schrubs & old fashionedall were deliciousfood: dont go hungry...tapa sized foodwe tried the cashew dip, beef skewers, mussels and oysters...all were deliciousonce we were done eating our empty dishes sat in front of us for over 30mins despite having severs come by to take drink orders & deliver said drinks...they were only removed since we ordered more food...like I said; it it was busy-would totally get it...but really wasntwould I go back? maybe as a stop for a cocktail or two...because they sure were good!

Honestly, I was incredibly disappointed. I’ve been once before and I loved the vibe and how cool the place was. This time, however, we had a lot of issues with the front staff. I had emailed for a reservation for a larger group, and they emailed and told me they could do 11 pm. I never got a response after I confirmed this, and I even followed up. It doesn’t help that they have no phone line either. I called the number in the email I got multiple times and I received no response. When we arrived, we were told that last call was happening soon, they had no space for us, and they couldn’t find the reservation. When we got inside, half of the area was empty and there was plenty of room. Additionally, half of our party was on their way, so we asked if we could order their drinks for them and we were told we couldn’t. I understand this is a legal liability issue, but our party arrived shortly before last call, and the front staff gave them a hard time and said they couldn’t get in. It took so long for them to be allowed in, that they weren’t even able to order drinks. Also, they called last call before it was even midnight, and wouldn’t let us order another drink before the cut off even if we finished and ordered before that point. The servers were very sweet, but overall this was such a frustrating experience that I wouldn’t go back. They try to make it seem very exclusive, but that shouldn’t mean that the staff should be rude. Also, there were a lot of subtle hints/cues that they wanted us to leave and that we were not quite welcome. I don’t think it’s worth it to go to Alchemy because the drinks are really expensive and they really try to push a notion of exclusivity and profit > service. Save your money and go to another cocktail bar.

Finally made it to Alchemy after work on a Friday and I was not disappointed. Going into it I wasn’t sure based on some poorer reviews but I honestly had a great time. Yes, the cocktails are more than your average bar but you’re at a fancy cocktail bar, so that’s the going rate these days. I had a Lily of The Valley and the Temptress and both were delicious. Our bartender, I forget his name, was awesome and very attentive. I want to go back once the patio is open, as it is massive and will be great on a sunny day.

We had a 9:15pm reservation on a Friday night and at 10:45 they asked us to leave so they could turnover the table.I know money is important and all but we found it distasteful to turn away guests just to turn tables and we were ordering plenty of drinks. I had to cancel my drink order and left when they asked me to. Other tables that arrived before us weren’t asked to leave. Wouldn’t come back here, it’s a bit pretentious.

Definitely one of the best upscale cocktail bar, welcoming atmosphere. Selection of music is Phenomenal!! Recommended!!

My husband and I enjoyed a great date night here tonight. Recommend using the valet parking at the hotel for convenience. (Especially on game nights)Our service was good. Our food arrived quickly and was nice and hot. Everything tasted excellent. We shared The fried Cauliflower, Beef Satay & Beef Sliders. Portions were bigger than I expected. We enjoyed all our dishes. The drinks were tasty & presentation was good. It is loud inside especially as the evening progressed but it was a great atmosphere. If you are looking for an intimate evening out, then this isn't your spot.We are looking forward to coming back soon for a patio night!

Staff were professional and helpful. They recommended drinks and I was not disappointed. Thank you. Great atmosphere. Will definitely go back.

Great cocktails and beautiful decor. Service while sitting up at the bar was a bit strange though? We ordered drinks through the manager vs through the bartenders (it was a busy weekend evening and they were swamped with making drinks and didn't engage with us at all). Would have loved to try the food but there wasn't much space while sitting at the bar and ordering through the manager each time threw us off. No hooks under the bar to hang a coat or bag either - would be a great addition/offer.

Visited this past Saturday. I'd give 2.5 stars if I could. For our first round we had the Fig Seventy-Five which was a nice drink. Second round, I had the honeymooners drink. It was sickly sweet, it honestly tasted like wine mixed with Jager which is odd since neither were of those were in the drink. Perhaps just not my taste but I only finished it because it wasn't cheap. Most cocktails there will run you 15-24 dollars, which would be fine if the drinks were better. Vibe would be good if the music wasn't club music. It's loud so it is difficult to talk.Shared the coconut shrimp. Pretty decent overall. Tasty. Service was ok- a bit slow but not surprising for a Saturday night.
