Probably an okay place, but the smell of the washroom while standing in line to order was too much to even bare, and wasn't sticking around to eat with the urban wildlife that sets up camp in the lobby. Drive thru reccomended
am writing to complaint about my recent frustrating experience i had with one of your staff who unfortunatly turned out to be the manager at your location at 10823 kingsway ,our visit was on 4/30/2022 @6:30 om , I am extremely displeased and disappointed with the way mayblyn (or that's what one of her staff told us )treated us and asked us to PAY OR LEAVE!!! ,we made an order with 3 coupons with total of $30.98+tax,however,they charged us $36.9 when we asked to correct it ,the manager said that it's a glitch in the system and they cannot correct it then pushed the coupons back and said you can complain to the customer service in a very rude way ,then we asked to cancel the order,the manager was rolled her eyes and said "WELL NOW HE WANTS TO CANCEL THE ORDER" i asked the manager for her name and told her this is a disrespectful way to deal with a customer ,she refused to give me her name and so did all the other staff who were clearly afraid to say her name and not looking at me ,I refused to leave until one of the staff said her name is Mayblyn ,I have been a loyal customer of A&W for over 6 years , the staff is always super friendly , except for this "Mayblyn" who was a live example of rudeness and mistreatment and a very bad example for A&W staff membersshe should be re-trained on how to deal with human and learn some good manners, such a shame
Stopped eating at the McDonald's down the street because they only serve exlax and bad attitude now,was amazed,best teen burger I've had in decades,wait time is a bit much,I think they make fresh to order now,but worth it,don't like the staff all wearing masks,kinda cruel and a virtue signal saying the owner is pro authoritarian,so knocking off 1 star,but definitely recommend this place for anyone tired of poor quality.
I am writing to complaint about my recent frustrating experience I had with one of your staff who unfortunately turned out to be the manager at your location at 10823 Kingsway NW around 6:30 pm , I am extremely displeased and disappointed with the way Mayblyn (or that's what the other staff said ) treated us and asked us to PAY OR LEAVE!!! ,we made an order with 3 coupons with total of $30.97+tax,however,they charged us $36.51, when we asked to correct it ,the manager said that it's an automatic calculation in the system does and they cannot correct it, when we asked her as a MANAGER!!! to make a discount or to upgrade our drink as a compensation of your own system glitch , she answered no in a rude way then pushed the coupons back and said you can complain to the customer service ,so we asked to cancel the order, the manager rolled her eyes and said "WELL NOW HE WANTS TO CANCEL THE ORDER" I asked the manager for her name and told her this is a disrespectful way to deal with a customer ,she refused to give me her name saying(I DON'T HAVE TO GIVE YOU MY NAME ) and so did all the other staff who were clearly afraid of her and ignoring my request to have her name ,I refused to leave until one of the staff said her name is Mayblyn (the manager covering the shift at that time) I have been a loyal customer of A&W for over 6 years , the staff is always super friendly , except for this "Mayblyn" who was a live example of rudeness and mistreatment and a very bad example for A&W staff member, she should definitely be retrained how to deal with humans and learn some good manners , she doesn't even deserve a zero star
Always a great experience here... the food, the staff, always 5 star.Last time I was in, we had been on the road and we were doing 'the dance'. Staff stopped cleaning and reopened the washroom, just for us. THANKS ladies!!!
This place is good during the day but at night it doesn't exist to me anymore. There's a lady that work's the graveyard shift who doesn't listen to your order, argues with you about it then still goes and messed it up. Decided everyone has an off night and is allowed it but every damn visit? No I'm good and 37 others I work with as well will no longer be going to this location because of her and the management's unwilling to deal with it...we now only go to the one off 118ave on nights now

Good, dependable service. Always nice to have a English muffin bacon n egger and some hashbrowns from this location. Only complaint is the parking lot kind of sucks, it's pretty rough.
I went drive through. A&W's Plant based burger is super delicious. I also tried their limited Edition new Jalapeno plant based burger but it wasn't as tasty atleast for me.
A&W has always been a favourite of mine for 50+ years, and they still deliver great taste and value. They are still adding new locations which is a great indication that they are still relevant. The older locations have gotten upgrades to stay current. This location, as with most has great service and the food is fresh and prepared quickly. I particularly like the breakfast fare, the bacon & egger is definitely one of my favourites. The coffee is great and the juice is fresh!!What's not to like?
