The food here is always AMAZING. The only downside is that this place is always so loud I can't easily hear my friends or partner speak across the table, or hear myself think. That and they no longer serve my absolute favourite burger, the lamb burger. So sad! But their fries are the best I may have ever had, their soup is fantastic, and their staff is kind. :)
What a great place to grab a burger and a pint.After walking around the mall shopping my wife and I decided to stop in here for a bite and a pint. I love that you can build your own burger, don’t have to feel bad about taking things off and substituting for other things.The burger was delicious, I strongly recommend you get the house mayo on the burger, so good. The kettle chips were ok a little crispy for my liking but that’s just my opinion, I am sure others like them crisp, I will just get fries next time and be happy.Our server was great (I missed her name) and the Manager (Nolan) was awesome.They have a huge selection of beer on tap, of course I couldn’t help myself from having an amazing IPA.Kids are allowed, and they do have a kids menu. My 3yo had the sliders and fries and we had no problems with our picky eater eating it all up.
My food was great. I ordered the Baja taco salad with the soup of the day but I can't think of the name.The soup was a bit smaller than I wish but it was delicious.The Baja taco salad was absolutely awesome. I also had a side of ghost pepper rub that I sprinkled on top.They have so many beers you won't be able to try them all in one sitting. But if you do, you'll have a hella, fun time doing it!
Expectations vs REALITY!!!First 2 photos from last night and the last 2 was from November 2019 (I did a screenshot so people can see the dates) -- had been here many times but I don't always take pictures of my meals (I am moody) lolI love going to 1st RND at the West Edmonton Mall because they have the best Fish (cod) and Chips. Last night, I was disappointed as my fish came out as a "mini" version of what it used to be --- my plate was almost empty -- as you can see I did not get the coleslaw included in the regular meal. I asked the server if they made a mistake serving me a Kid's Fish and Chips Meal and she said it wasn't a mistake everyone gets the same size of fish. She was fast to give me 2 options:1. Order another piece of fish for $42. Order a different meal altogether.*** I cannot decide that fast so she offered to take the plate back to the kitchen. I said "sure", I was a bit frustrated at th is point so I asked to speak to a manager.The manager was unapologetic almost condescending --- gave me a COVID spiel, he basically blames COVID for everything... Same as the server, he offered for me to order another piece of fish -- I declined so I got my food back from the kitchen. ???They said nice to people who show up at work in the service industry.. But what if the people have no customer service at all?I just hope the manager spoke to me in a nicer manner and I will still be walking out as a happy customer. I understand how expensive things are nowadays -- and I understand why the serving size would be smaller.Anyways, it ends here...This is the longest review on Google I wrote so far...
If you happen to crave for burgers, this is the place for you. I was inlove with their oscar klefbom burger!!! The fries was salty for my taste though. Also tried honey garlic chicken wings which was too sweet for my taste, and the fish tacos which will be my first and last. Will definitely be back to try other burgers!
I am probably the most luckiest momma to have such a wonderful son who works here and puts every single dish out with the most amazing presentation and I've never once experienced a rude employee and to those who have nothing better to do then complain about minor elementary issues need to give they're head a shake and be humbled that you have food in your stomach when people go hungry to bed every night in Edmonton. So next time you have a negative feedback keep it to yourself and be greatly appreciated that you have access to fine dining. To Nick your work shows you have a passion and great work ethic. Great place for burgers. Ordered the Oscar Klefbom burger and it was really good. Also, the side servings that come with the burgers are huge! I had the curly fries and they came in a mini bucket. I recommend the house mayo with it. The servers are super friendly and very attentive. Would definitely come back to this place!

It was my first time at this place but also last.I ordered a drink and on the glass there was a spider, asked server to take it back. She took it and didn’t care give replacement for that. Absolutely worst experience. Not recommended at all. Attaching the photo so everyone can see how they maintain hygiene.
Nothing better than a clean washroom in an establishment that serves food! And the food ain't half bad either ;)
