Visited for the first time and was really impressed. The chicken was lightly battered and remained crispy throughout the entire meal. I also loved the fries - not sure what seasoning mix the store uses, but the fries were so tasty that I could see a lot of people ordering them as a main dish. ? Service was also quick and friendly. Hope more people swing by to try the place out!
One of the best Korean Fried Chicken I have had in a while. Chicken was crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Well spiced. Even the fries were flavoured well.Totally recommend
Great food. Consistent quality they cater to halal -1 star as the customer service can improve. They do not give much ketchup (1 packet per person) and very passive aggressive if you ask to confirm the order.
We have been craving good Korean fried chicken so decided to try Yum Yum. Their name does not do it justice. Delicious, super crispy, juice running down your face, can't stop eating good. The fries were crisp and well spiced.We tried the three piece yum yum and shallot chicken meals. We had enough left over for another meal.FYI, best to order ahead. Since it is made fresh to order, you wait about 20 minutes. Worth it! Our new go to for home on days we just need it.
Very tasty Korean fried chicken. We have ordered a few times and every time the chicken was cooked to perfection. We have found the glazing to be somewhat inconsistent but nevertheless this place serves some of the best fried chicken in Calgary, and best of all it is Halal!

Tried this place after reading a bunch of reviews. The food was above average for Korean chicken. We got one order of the whole yum yum chicken and one whole order of the shallot chicken with the combo #2 option along with two chicken burgers and large fries.Customer service was okay - they seemed to be too busy to really take the time to answer any question that we had (we never ordered there before) and then basically ignored us afterwards. When we were given our food they forgot to give us our burgers so I had to turn back and wait to ask for same.The chicken itself was a hit in our home. They were quite flavorful with a pretty good crunch to them. I noticed that there were a few pieces from each box where it was essentially bone with abit of meat on them which was somewhat disappointing. My husband joked that perhaps they took the meat from them to make the burgers.I personally preferred the shallot chicken myself and appreciate that they took the effort to pack the shallots separately in a different container so it would not make the chicken soggy by the time we got home. The yum yum chicken was a gooey goodness that was pretty tasty as well. Fries wise it was average. They appear to be McCains crinkle cut fries lightly seasoned with a salt mixture similar to that of Hy's seasoning. The burgers were pretty good as well. They too had a pretty good crunch and texture to them.I was fairly impressed that the leftovers held up the next day and were still "yummy" to finish up.
