Not bad. We ordered papaya salad, basil ground pork, hoi tod (mussels pancake), yum pla doom foo.Papaya salad was average, not bad. Basil ground pork was lacking of basil flavour. Hoi tod was good but wish the dish size was bigger. Yum pla dook foo was a no to us! No taste of fish, no trace of fish in the dish, like eating air! Will not order this again.Overall, not bad but wish the dishes sizes were a bit bigger. Flavour was a bit off. Next time probably will order something that won’t go wrong like pad Thai, mango sticky rice.
The beef in curry is tough. If you like to drink curry as soup(tasty curry and terrible meat), you will love it. I will recommend the thai milk tea and a chicken soup. The mango sticky rice is fantastic, but the papaya salad is only recommend for people who like spicy. Traditional Thai food, not bad. They took me back to my wonderful Thailand tour.
My party ordered green curry with chicken, basil crispy pork belly served with fried egg and rice, coconut rice for main. For dessert, we had mango sticky rice. The food was tasty and of a happy portion. The server was attentive. They managed to get a sweet mango in February, reminding us of the sticky rice from Thailand.
The best and authentic Thai restaurant in Calgary Alberta Canada ❤?? loved the dishes we ordered! We will surely comeback?? 4th time and did not disappoint! We were given free dessert!
This. Place. Is. So. Good!! Come check it out! From start to finish we had a great experience here with the food. With it's stellar quality and taste, it quickly became an instant favorite of mine. Check out my review on IG @thatfoodiehoe!
Excellent service, excellent food! Highly recommend pork belly on rice, Tom yum soup and bbq pork with sticky rice. I can eat these food everyday lol. Will come back try more food!
Some of the best Thai food I've had in Calgary. What beautiful menu. Delicious and fresh. Perfect flavors.
Our Thai friend recommended this restaurant to us and said that this is the most authentic Thai resto in the city. Lo and behold that she was 100% right! Their pad Thai is very tasty and has lots of texture and sauce! (Unlike the ones in commercial Thai places). Their BBQ pork sticky rice is very affordable too ($9) for 3 sticks and a side of sticky rice. Tom Yum soup is very delicious and has a good kick in it ($5+). The service was good and fast. We noticed that there are a lot of SkipTheDishes during our stay so we thought this is really the best place for Thai food! Yim Siam will be our go-to Thai food from now on!
Second time we had our dinner after our morning shifts at the hospital. We ordered the pork belly with Chinese cabbage, red curry , curry noodles and rice. The servings are huge and all the 3 dishes are on point! Love the heat and distinct taste of curry and the pork belly soooo Good! We will definitely be back?our favorite Thai restaurant in Calgary Alberta Canada ❤??
Had a fantastic dinner with my mom and brother at this restaurant. I had the Thai Milk Tea, Curry Noodle (Shrimp) and we shared the Chicken Satay, Fresh Salad Rolls, Roasted Duck Curry, Ginger Stir Fried (Beef), Mango Sticky Rice and Fried Banana with Coconut Ice cream. Best Thai food I've had in Calgary!!! Would highly recommend
