THE BEST BAKERY IN CALGARYThe dessert pastries were the best I’ve ate. Not too sweet, but filled with flavour. Service was amazing and great vibe all around. Definitely returning whenever I can, worth every penny.
We have had the very great pleasure of enjoying the delights from Yann Haute for many years, from macarons and croissants, to cakes and breads, to special seasonal creations, as well as the take-and-bake offerings.If had to describe what draws us back time-and-time again, I would say both the creativity but also the ability to capture and highlight flavours. Strawberry desserts explode with fruit flavour, passionfruit ones feel like enjoying the actual fruit…I remember specifically on a trip to Paris, worried that Yann’s dessert might not hold up to those of Ladurée or Paul, and I was so impressed that we thought Yann had a better grasp of making fruit flavours sing!I would also be remiss if I didn’t mention the staff. This is a family business. They treat their staff like family, and they always welcome us warmly like we are family as well. Their care and respect during the pandemic has been admirable.5 stars from us. Without doubt.
Absolutely love this bakery, they’re super cute and there is such a nice variety of pastries here. It was so pretty and delicious, I haven’t found any other place that makes it so well in Calgary, would definitely be coming back again.
Yann Haute is one of my favourite bakery in town. I keep buying cakes and macaroons even during covid days. I even lined up to buy a cake. But now im so upset. The quality wasn’t so good for the price that i pay. I ordered cake for delivery for my partner’s birthday because its a special day so the cake must be special but im really disappointed. The hazelnut cake was different than the one that I found online. The bread was so thick. The cake came out bland, no taste, no sweetness at all. Good thing the macaroons was delicious. We enjoyed the macaroons.
Always a nice treat for yourself or as a gift. A friend gifted me these two desserts for my birthday. Loved each. Love to get a box of macarons for hosts gifts
The best thing to happen to Mission Cliff Bungalow in the last 10 years! An authentic French Bakery - you can smell the butter when you walk in! Take out only. They have frozen pain chocolate and croissants you can bake at home. If you want Gorgeous pastries hand- made with quality ingredients Yann’s is the place.
I have been ordering from this place for over 3yrs. It’s the only place I will go for sweets. Even when I moved to Strathmore we would make special trips just to go there. We are now living in Red Deer but still make the drive for these special treats on occasion because they are amazing. My husband called today to request the lovely cake for our 10th anniversary but we were told because it was 2 days before they were taking orders for them they wouldn’t make it? I actually planned a night in Calgary so I could get this cake to celebrate. On the website it said to call if you wanted to place it earlier but I misunderstood and thought that meant you could get it earlier. To say I’m extremely disappointed is an understatement. No explanation why just no. So instead of ordering over $100 worth of stuff now I won’t be getting anything from there. I have spent $1000’s here and have always bragged about it. I even brought in some new customers but none of that matters. It is a very special day for us and the only night we would be in Calgary but she didn’t care to even ask if it could be done because of our special circumstance. A big part of being a successful business is keeping your customers happy. Especially loyal regulars. Im honestly not sure I’ll ever go back after this.
We're so fortunate to have this Patisserie in Calgary!! The treats are stunningly beautiful and just as delicious as they look! Yann Haute Patisserie has the most amazing treats for any occasion. Yann is an amazing artist creating the finest French pastries and cake known to mankind!
This was my first time visiting the bakery in person although I have been gifted many treats from here before by friends! Everytime I have something they have been very tasty. Their croissants are delicious and comparable to the ones I've had in Paris. The staff is very friendly and on my last visit I was gifted a apple macaron since it was broken ( this seriously made my day ) I must say my favourite of the day was the black forest macaron it's so small but there is so much flavor! I am disappointed it's seasonal, I'll be sad when it's gone. My other favourite was the almond and chocolate croissant. I've had it many times and never get tired of it.Over all I love the store and 100% recommend. There is free parking in the back. Definitely go early because it gets busy and they run out fast! :)
My must go to patisserie every time I visit Calgary! A cute little store with non-alcoholic and gelatine free options. Their macaroons are the BEST I've had in Calgary! Unfortunately I eat them all too quickly to take pictures! Recommend coming in at least 2 to 3 hours prior to closing for a better selection.
