One of my favorite places for fried chicken. The lunch special is awesome. I usually go for the regular fried chicken with the radish they have on the side. They have a few tables to dine in if you choose that route. No big tables as this place is a pick-up type and go.
Ordered the original chicken breast, and cheese fries. Chicken was nicely cooked with a delightfully crispy texture. They lost a star for their cheese fries however which seem to be just fries covered with a KD quality orange cheddar powder which tastes terrible... I threw them out!
The 3 of us each had a lunch special and I had my chicken with the soy garlic sauce. Super delicious and the cashier was very kind and friendly. Would definitely come back here again if we're ever in Calgary :)
The staff here are so kind and so sweet. I love going to this location in particular because I feel like they season their fries better (I usually get the bulgogi, so good!!). Also, I know all locations have the same recipes, but to me this location always seems to taste much much better! I think most of it comes down to how sweet they are when they hand you your food. It Genuinely makes my day every single time without fail.
Unironically the best chicken I have ever had. I would kill for this restaurant. It will actually make you rethink chicken, I am not kidding you. When you go and get KFC you will think to yourself "I could be getting WOW chicken" and then you will go get WOW chicken. I assure you I am not embellishing this whatsoever, I am dead serious.
Spicy gangjeong was great, I didn't care much for the cinnamon in the sweet gangjeong. The seasoned crispy chicken was great, and I couldn't tolerate the shallots in the shallot chicken. Tteokbokki came with fish cakes and the entire dish tasted fishy. Server was apathetic and prices were really high.
You will not be disappointed by the chicken here!! It’s very delicious. The rice cake is spicier than what I’ve had in Calgary so watch out for that
This place is awesome; not only the taste but also the service! I ordered chicken online and I’ve got a call from restaurant that they sent wrong order. Owner explained the situation and she came to my address with the item I ordered originally right away as delivery driver already had left with food. I am so happy with their service. All foods are also so fantastic! They know how to make crispy and juicy chicken. I can say it is the best fried chicken place in Calgary!!
Fantastic everytime! Love the soy garlic seasoned chicken, chili seasoned fries and pickled radish. One of my favorite places to eat! Fast service and friendly staff.
As a self described korean chicken connaisseur (lame I know), this place ain't it. Their shallot chicken is extremely sweet even by Korean standards. They do give a ton of green onion if that's your thing. Their soy garlic chicken lacked sauce unfortunately, it really leaves you feeling sad since you're mainly eating plain fried chicken. Their prices are 2-3$ more expensive than other Korean chicken joints as well.
