We’ve been here dozens of times, always had a great time I went today, ordered the beetroot and hummus bowl, it’s new It’s served on a plate. Missing half the posted ingredients, and honestly NOT even close to worth $18.50 Avoid that dish.
My friends and I always choose this pub for our meetups and last night was no different. I always have a stellar time, the wait staff is always super stellar (Shout out to Terri and Sandra, keep up the great work!) and the food is always delicious. We'll always be coming back, the patio is amazing and the atmosphere is unbeatable. Don't let the 5 stars fool you. 6/5 Service and food.

Sandy is someone we have had the pleasure of being served by her multiple times. The first time we saw her, we loved her and thought she was wonderful. This has to be at least the 5th time she has been our server and she is absolutely wonderful!! Not only is she fantastic at getting our food/drinks to us quickly but she makes us feel so welcomed and she's so friendly and kind. I can honestly say that at this point I have been coming in just to see her. She's absolutely fantastic and funny!
Saturday night the place was busy. Two people at the table ordered the Black and Bleu burger which came with salad and both guests upgraded to onion rings. Both guys said it was one of the best burgers they’d ever had. I ordered the 10” chicken chipotle pizza and it was really good with a base of a creamy chipotle sauce. Very flavourful. Not a lot of cheese - and a more heartier crust like breadstick texture. Soups were excellent.I would recommend a reservation as the restaurant was very busy. We arrived at 7pm and got one of the last 3 tables. Great service. BEER - I ordered a 20 Oz mandarin orange sour beer - loved it and it went great with the pizza
Came here for a friends birthday. The ribs were on special. Full rack for $24 with all the fixings. Our waitress was super nice and efficient. We had a group of 10 people which ordered food and drinks. Ribs were delicious.
After being cooped up inside for just a bit to long we and some friends of ours ventured out to the Windsor Rose pub in Walden. What a lovey evening it turned out to be. Of course, laughing again with old friends made the evening, but the cozy atmosphere by the fireplace and quality of the food and service made it even better.Especially appreciated was the diligence the Windsor Rose showed in following the COVID protocols. Checking QR codes and ID, wearing masks, etc. Not doubt this was a pain in the a-- for them, but it did make us all fee safer.Well done!
Nice spot to visit, drink and enjoy a delicious dinner with family and friends in the beautiful commercial centre of gate of Walden. However, they need to improve on customer service, now this suggestion does apply mostly to the management themselves not the floor staff. One of the manager who attended to me was arrogant and bossy. I imagine how he would treat the staff he hired to work for him.
Terrible. $17 dollars for 10 wings, 3 pieces of carrot and 3 pieces of celery. I don’t usually give bad reviews. But this place was terrible. I asked to speak to the manager about it and he said “I will relay this information to the owners”. Expensive and bad.
Really disappointed with this, we ordered the cottage pie for 2 and got this disgusting slop. They didn’t seal one side of the container so when I untied the bag it and lifted it out it almost poured all over the floor. It was cold because they never closed it before packing and it was just luck the Skip driver didn’t spill it.
