Cute little place, once we found the front door. Staff was all very friendly however they were out of stock on a thai beer and had to go check every time we ordered something else. Had the Pad Thai, portion was huge which was great however to us the sauce tasted a bit ketchup based. Husband ordered Peanut stir fry, it was fantastic. We will be back to try a few more things.
Worst Tasting Thai food ever. We ordered Papaya salad Masaman curry with beef med spice Red curry with chicken med spice Yellow curry with chicken med spice The papaya salad tasted like they poured a Bottle of fish sauce on it The yellow curry was so sweet it was sickening The red curry, the chicken was tough and tasteless. The masaman left a chemically taste in my mouth. Do yourself a favour. Go to MacDonald’s. The rice was ok when it finally got to our table.
Great flavours and portions. I love the masaman curry and the chicken pad Thai. You will have enough food for next day leftovers. The service is fast and the waiters are amazing!
Top three for Thai food in Calgary, for me! Quality is consistent and great value. Pictured are the Thai Golden Tofu, Thai Chicken Satay, Thai Veggie Spring Rolls and Spicy Noodle.
WowI didn't expect this hidden resturant to be great experience and tasty delicious food.If you are looking for real authentic tasty Thai food, white elephant cuisine is where you go.Book ahead, we were lucky to get a table in the restaurant without waiting, anyone after us either waited for 30min or seated in the lounge.Warning ⚠️ plan to share your food, we were celebrating my daughter's 18th bithday. We ordered 4 main dishes (fried rice, green curry, red curry, and fried egg noodles) + large steamed rice. We couldn't finish any dish and took about half of each dish.Very reasonable price: At the beginning I thought all dishes are pricey but turned out the amount to the price is just right to your budget. For all these dishes + a pitcher of beer is less than $100 total including taxesIt's a cozy place that you will enjoy every bite (if you like spicy food), all the staff are friendlyWas great experience and worth it.
Some of the best food I have ever had. This little hole in the wall in NE Calgary is just outstanding. The new renovations on the inside look great, the staff is friendly and their food is the best Thai food in YYC. It is family shared style plates and it will blow you away time and time again.
Great food all round. Had the famous Thai milk tea, green curry with sticky rice and pad sew. Everything tasted as good as I ever had. I love Thai food and this definitely meets my expectation. They need to move to a better place for sure. The entrance is like a back of a shady motel. The food is great but the location and atmosphere should be a lot better.
We really enjoyed our first visit. The food was amazing, the decor was tasteful. Don't let the location and access fool you. Definitely recommended. The service was a bit slow though.
We ordered take out last night, it had been years since we last visited, not sure when it changed hand. First, they missed our order, so I had to wait for my food there and I did get any apolopy. Second, the meat was all overcooked, everything didn't taste as good now. We were sooooo disappointed! Will never go back again.
