Nice and clean in there with a modern look. Ice cream was delicious and creamy. The flavors were vast and unique. Dunkaroos and the Banana Toffee Crunch were delicious. Only downside I had with my visit was my children weren't able to see the ice cream to choose what they wanted. You know how visual kids are... Aside from that, it was great. New flavors each month will bring me back for more!
Update: this location tends to be our go-to Village Ice Cream store since the line is shorter and moves fast. As well, it is easier for us to get to.The second location of village Ice cream does not disappoint. There are 3 locations now and there's a reason for it. Their ice cream is one of the best in town. The only drawback of this location is parking. Street parking is often full so you have to park a little further away. Tried their cookie and cream limited summer flavor and it was delicious!
So glad I got the chance to stop by before leaving for New York. It was a calm, well decorated ice cream spot with many flavors to offer. I was kinda looking forward to seeing even more surprisingly, but the amount of different flavors available were good anyway. The scoops were hard to finish! Also, glad that there were take home pints! Super convenient. Staff is friendly and prices are more than ressonable. Would love to come here again! :)
Good ice cream flavor wise. Ice crystals in it ruined the smoothness factor. Not sure if I will be back. That's 2 stores with the same issue.
This is the second store with the same issue. Ice crystals in the ice cream. Sort of ruined the smoothness of the product. Not sure I'll be back.
Everything about this place is incredible. Guide mint is my go to, but I have never been disappointed in any flavour cone or ice cream.
Great ice creams, great staff, great service. Highly recommended.
Very very very good icecream best in Calgary all the flavours I like coffee, chocolate and strawberry .take a moment to appreciate the packaging.it’s really good even the takeaway bag funny and interactive.
I went in this evening at the end of an emotionally taxing day at work. I told the nice lady that worked there (sorry, I don't know her name) that I helped an elderly gentleman find his car that was parked somewhere at the hospital. I had driven past him and thought something seemed off so I went back to see if he was alright. It took about 40 minutes for a security guard and I to find his car since it was in another parking lot, but we did it. I helped get him on his way home and stopped in at Village. I said I was an emotional mess and was probably going to go home to eat icecream and cry. I left in the store in tears because she said my icecream was on the house. She said she wanted to help pay it forward. It was a very kind gesture and I appreciate it so much. I am now enjoying the flavor combo she suggested...toasted coconut and north 49 honeyberry. Delicious! Thanks for the kindness, I will be back soon.
One of the best ice cream place in Calgary you should not skip. They’ve got many vegan, dairy free options and seasonal flavours. The dairy free options are made with coconut milk.Their seasonal flavour everything Mark Loves is the best. Their regular Earl Grey, Cookie cream and Strawberry are so good too. Their waffle cones are made fresh daily.Service is always fast and friendly. There are also $11 for big box to take home just in case ^^!! All their cups and spoons are compostable.
