5-stars plus! These folks are amazing - experts in the kitchen and family run, genuine people. So tasty, every dish is a culinary work of art. My daughter is ten and this is her favorite restaurant. They will cater to mild to spicy to super fire hot. To top off the beautiful experience, they do a free fun dish with I think some minimum purchase, it's always a real treat! Everything is made and presented authentically. Super surprised by less than 5-star ratings to be honest. We love the intimate dine-in experience, but usually nab easy takeout. Love love love this restaurant and the people, highly recommend!

Family owned restaurant with the consistency of a chain. Wonderful owners and even better food. I've never had a bad experience here and everything seems super fresh. It's not the best I've ever had but in Calgary it certainly is my go to. It's a relatively small location but from the moment you walk in the restaurant you can smell the fresh produce they use in the cold box displays. It's also nice they have a convenient online ordering system for pick ups that most places seem to not have. It's definitely worth a try if you're in South Calgary.

Just moved to the area and tried viet thai bistro, wow this is the worst place i have ever had for vietnamese! i had #31 all the meat was so salty i could not stomach it! yet the shrimp had absolutely no flavour. super disappointed !

Ate here years ago maybe 8years ago….?‍♀️Might have been a different owner then but I was not impressed then by the food I received and that was my first time eating there. I have avoided this place since then but recently decided to give them another chance. So happy I did the food was delicious & fresh and I really enjoyed it this time! Might be my new fav Place for Vietnamese food

Great food and excellent service every time. Never disappointed and always caters to allergies rare to find this type of quality. Gluten free spring rolls are delicious!!!

Really disappointing experience last night. We preordered online for pickup in 90 mins. When my husband arrived they told him they didn't have the noodles to make what we ordered. They could have called us in advance; we had other hot food in the car getting cold. They created the dish using a substitute. But then they forgot to include the extra side sauce we paid for. The worst part was the calamari. Clearly overcooked. Smells like it was done deliberately to compensate for spoiled fish; very very fishy smelling which is indicative of bad fish. Not coming back.

This is probably the most awful food I’ve ever had. The food arrived ICE cold. The containers were limp because there was so much watery liquid floating at the bottom of the bun. Totally tasteless, no satay on the beef (it was dry) and the spring rolls… my god… they were old or something I don’t know but they were so soggy and SLIMY. I ate about half and we will see if we get food poisoning. Absolutely AWFUL.Edit in response to business reply below: is this how you treat your customers? 1. Shame on you to reply “we are very sorry for your experience” but proceed to be defensive and tell me I am wrong?! 2. My order was pre-placed and did not take very long to arrive. I retrieved it immediately when the bell rang, how would the weather impact this? My husbands had noodles and all the meat (beef) and noodles were like ice as if they were in a fridge. We have ordered from other restaurants similar dishes and they arrive hot. 3. The containers were FILLED with watery liquid at the bottom as if someone poured soup or did not strain the noodles. 4. I did not ask for no peanut whatsoever. I asked for it to have satay but not spicy. 5. We’ve ordered viet spring rolls before from other places and they are never ice cold, slimy, wet and soggy. Over a few bucks you can’t even admit your error and Blame the customer? All others have to do is read your other 1 star reviews to see you do not care about quality.

The salad rolls and the vermicelli bowls both used wheat vermicelli instead of rice. It was very heavy and didn’t taste right.

I absolutely love love this place. One of the best places in the whole of Calgary to get a good Vietnamese meal. Very large portions delicious flavour. The owner is a super sweet lady with a huge heart. I would recommend eating here for every meal!!

I googled Thai food and found this place since I was in the area. I love treating myself to Thai food and I’m glad I came here! I ordered green curry, cashew chicken like I always do - this gives me a good comparison to other Thai places I’ve eaten at. I got the coconut rice also and a side of extra steamed vegetables because I like a lot of vegetables. I spent over $35 and received a promotional dish - Shanghai noodles… and everything I tried was so flavourful and rich and satisfying that I will absolutely be back to order more! The owners are extremely generous to offer a whole dish complimentary for spending a certain amount, and I can tell you this is a business I would want to support with the level of quality and love put into their food and the surprising generosity that made me feel like a valued customer. It touched me so much I even got emotional. I highly recommend this place! They even have a few unique, ethnic items available for purchase in their mini market which I thought was very quaint. Go try this place!!!!
