By far the best Donaire I've EVER had... And I'm a major foodie. They have bison donaire, chicken, beef as well as a mix along with super delicious vegetarian options. My go to is a chicken beef mix with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and cheese, sweet and garlic sauce. Drool!! Ask for extra garlic sauce if you are under the weather. Works for me every time! You won't be disappointed!
The whole city of Calgary is confused about what Donair is suppose to be. How can one possibly make a something so simple so terribly.I feel like the Pita here is terrible quality and comes out of a bag rather than made fresh, the meat is under seasoned and was grey instead of brown indicating it was unfresh. the toppings and sauce tasted like something out of a can.The people that own this place need to take a culinary class and have some pride in what they do instead of serving a terribly bland disappointing mess that disgraces the name Donair.
A coworker and I felt adventurous one day and called in for a last minute food challenge at Uncle Moe's. Took us both in with no hesitation. Service was amazing. Seems like a mom and pop shop, felt really homey-ish. Next visit will definitely be for a regular sized donair. Food was amazing.
My partner from the East Coast told me that Uncle Moe's Donair's tastey goodness is on par with King of Donair from where he grew up in Nova Scotia. I got hooked on their sweet sauce and their regular beef Donair's are my favorite. I also enjoy the Bison but they sell out fast. I've been a loyal customer for 19 years now and even though I've moved away from Calgary to live in different cities the owner Basil has always remembered my order. They have Mon,Wed,& Fri specials and a cozy dining area to enjoy your meal. This is hands down the BEST Donair place in Calgary and I highly recommend it.

Very nice and friendly middle eastern chefs who know how to make traditional middle eastern foods. The wraps come in generous sizes and have a good balance of meat and other toppings. Very fair price as well. I recommend.
Nothing to fancy, just a good tasting donair. Plus the have Lamb and Bison. They also have a huge donair designed to stretch your stomach. I think it's called the T-Rex and if you finish it you will get your name and picture on the wall of fame. Joel Hanson a You Tube competitive eater from Canada has been there. He of course finished his in record time, around 15 minutes.
