We ordered on Skip. Bad idea. We have not had food this bad from a restaurant before. The burger was burned to a crisp and incredibly salty: it was inedible. The side salad was missed. The pasta and beef dip were super dry. We were shocked that food of this quality would be sent out the door. Missing part of the order added insult to injury.
The food was okay and the waitress was nice. They didn't give me chicken on my Alfredo though and I had to tell them that they missed it then they gave it to me on the side which was a bit annoying but whatever. Then they over charged me and my friend, I noticed the difference after I paid so they corrected the bill for my friend but just gave me the difference in change. I hate having change so I asked if they could just refund the full amount on my card and then charge me again, she waitress and the manager both didn't know how to do that. So I guess it's not the worst, but this was kind of really annoying. Especially with all of the mistakes you'd think they'd do something to make up for it. super lackluster experience.
Went for wing night and found the wings to get smaller & smaller each time they came out. We got 8 pretty small wings which i find hard to believe was a lb. The drinks were good even though i received the wrong one. Service could be a bit better for the amount of customers they have. Overall good but could still be better!
Worst bar ever. Pretty sure they’re racist. Waiting to get help for 10th so each time. Last call the guy took my order it’s was before 6. He helped someone else it’s was 6:02 when I got my drinks. It was regular price he said happy hours over. Told him I ordered my drink before happy hour ended he just showed his shoulders. Ps. Felt uncomfortable there the whole time. I would give this pub zero stars.
We have eaten here before and returned because we enjoyed. We shared spicy chicken pot stickers. My wife had a buffalo wrap and I had shepherd's pie (not made with fresh shepherds!). Food was tasty. Beer selection was interesting. Service was good, nice and friendly. My only beef was the volume on the TV sets, which made conversation a little awkward. We shall return.
Food was great. French onion soup was hearty and delicious. Not as hot enough. I would recommend next time extra cheese. Service was great. Beet was cold. Great little spot.:)
This is a great little place to go for a meal or a quick beer. Staff were friendly and helpful, and everyone seem to enjoy what they had.
If anyone is coming to this place, I found out the hard way that the online menu is OUTDATED. I ordered the Supreme beef dip, which comes with onions, mushrooms and banana peppers (online) but the in house menu has that as a "Philly it up" for an extra $3. For starters the "new" beef dip is not worth $16. $12, yes. $16? No. The amount of beef on that bun... I had to rearrange the meat just to get a piece in every bite. My guess is they made the "philly" to raise their prices without actually raising their prices. I will say the au jus is delicious. Probably one of the best I have had in the city. But good au jus can't save an over priced, sandwich big enough to feed a kid.I was honestly shocked when the waitress told me this was the "new" beef dip.i think the words that came out of my mouth were "how is this worth $16?" I'm pretty sure you get more beef at Arby's than what was on this sandwich. On a side note, this place needs to heat their soup longer. French onion soup should be near boiling when served. Mine came out Luke warm but after waiting an hour for our meal I wasn't about to send it back. For context, our soup's Swiss cheese was melted but I've never seen a French onion soup that looked like a skating rink.My partner ordered the Shepard pie, which is supposed to be cooked in some sauce. His was pretty dry with mashed potatoes that taste like they've been in the fridge a few days. Not surprising considering how much beef was in my sandwich. They must be hurting if they can't provide a decent amount of beef.A bird also told me to mention that the online hours of this place are super outdated as well. I have no idea how a company can go through this pandemic and not have accurate online information... these days business relies on the internet for people to read your menu before they even come in the door. I certainly wouldn't have come to this place had their menu been accurate. But maybe that is how they are succeeding these days... if you can't make it with honesty, just fake it to bring in the suckers.
I came in on April 23,22 on the restaurant side and we were served by a tall blonde girl. At first the experience was going alright until our food showed up. The chicken in our buffalo chicken wrap was way over cooked and dry with zero sauce to speak of. We also ordered a poutine that was also closer to a basket of fries than poutine. Next we end up sitting for a significant time with empty drinks waiting to get our bill. When the waitress finally ended up returning I mentioned that the food was underwhelming she snapped and said “you should have said something at the beginning” then just rudely walked away. I just wanted to give some feedback on my experience. If the waitress would have just listened at the time I wouldn’t be here leaving this review. Maybe the cook in the back thinks he’s killin it. Lemme tell you he isn’t. Also the food is WAY OVER PRICED considering the extremely low quality.
Really great food and a fun vibe. Would of been 5 stars but its a bit understaffed and is waited by two guys who double as bartenders. Not their fault. Would reccomend
