One of our party has gluten intolerance, and we had recently found about this place. We honestly couldn't tell that it was gluten free, as it compromised none of the flavour.I had the vegetarian maple pizza, great flavours all well balanced, with nothing overpowering the rest.More than happy to go back, and will be recommending to friends.
Amazing!!! Exciting find ?
I ate here today for the first time. AMAZING. I have 12 food allergies, and was free and clear. Knowledgeable staff made sure to make recommendations based on my allergies to keep me safe. Fat head crust, Hawaiian pizza with pepperoni. totally GF and free of everything I had to worry about. Can't give this place enough stars. Best part I also purchased take and bake pizza for home. Thank You Village Flatbread Co. you are AMAZING!
My wife and I discovered Village Flatbread Co. at the beginning of the pandemic and it quickly became one of our favourite places to support. Our experience today has left us speechless and wondering if we should continue coming here. The man who was working ~2:00pm was unbelievably rude for absolutely no reason. He was short, aggressive and just plain mean. Our whole experience was spoiled due to his terrible behaviour.
If you are gluten free you MUST try Village Flatbread! Absolutely everything on the menu is gluten free so you can try everything without a million questions or any need for worry. It's delicious and the ingredients are all locally sourced. In fact, they take local seriously, even naming each pizza after a Calgary neighborhood! Lots of vegan options too, or create your own custom pizza. They even have take and bake options - try the mac & cheese!
To be brutally honest— the dough/ crust is not very good. It’s dry— homemade tasting. Turns into dust if you squeeze it hard enough. I googled the restaurant and found out it’s 100% gluten free. Makes sense
Yet again another amazing experience at The Village Flatbread! Ordered my all time go to - The Aspen! Exceptional customer service and this is one spot that has been consistent with the flavours! Please consider coming to Edmonton; we have no halal options for good Italian pizza!
First time order- good thin-crust (yes, 'flatbread- style') pizza, Next time, I'll order one of their sauces to punch it up a bit to make it extraordinary. The gal working there is super-enthusiastic and friendly, which is a great reference for the place, IMO.
Well, I was a bit surprised to get two small to maybe moderate sized salads for the price of $40 with a $3.99 delivery charge. The salads were only fair tasting and very disappointed with the amount.I will definitely not recommend nor order again!!!
Great keto friendly options! Very detailed nutritional info and delicious pizza!
