The portion size of the food was way to less as compared to the price and the menu is not good either, there are hardly any large plate options which can be counted as filling. Went for a special occasion but had a bad experience
Great food and service
The Street Eatery has a very diverse menu with creative combinations of flavors from all over the globe. The Ceasar with a cube of crispy pork belly was delicious. I enjoyed the Ebi Prawn Stack which was beautifully presented. The Thai Curry Empanada was tasty but could have been spicier.Service was friendly and attentive. We'll be back to try the other menu items.
Incredible service and the best food we have eaten in years. Between our group of 7, we tried 5 different dishes and every one was amazing. Service was top notch and the restaurant itself is adorable. Highly recommend!
Nice idea, ok execution.Small, cozy location with cute decor and art. Friendly staff -- they checked on us many, many times (maybe a bit too much, but more is better than less!).The food is passable. Got the KFC sandwich and it definitely wasn't worth the price. The baguette felt like a cheap Safeway baguette: cold and hard as rock. The meat was way overcooked, and the sauce was passable. Will probably still come back for the crazy looking milkshakes, but I'll pass on the food.
Great service and good was just that nice little bit different. Lots of plant based choices along with regular fare
I had the vegan bbq wings and cauliflower bao and they were the best things I have eaten in a very long time.
It was our first time at Street Eatery and it was a fantastic place to meet with a friend for lunch. I had the Pork Belly Banh Mi and we had a brownie for dessert and it was absolutely delicious! We loved everything about our experience and will be back.
I had to rewrite and change my 5 year old 5 star review for the experience I had during brunch. Here is what I tried:? Salmon Eggs BennyWe’re huge eggs Benny fan for brunch, and pretty much have tried eggs Benny almost everywhere in calgary. Salmon works very well with cream cheese on eggs Benny and so we were excited for it. The hash brown served were crispy, but definitely need some seasoning. It was fixed after salt and pepper was sprinkled. However, the poached eggs were RAW, and we had to send it back, not once but TWICE! Unfortunately one of us didn’t end up eating at all because of this. Their hollandaise sauce was quite disappointing as well as we felt it was almost all butter with a hint of egg yolk. Hopefully the kitchen works on this after a constructive feedback was given to them. I do give them the benefit of doubt as they’re new to the brunch scene.Taste: ??????Mushroom Eggs BennyThe mushrooms were perfect, eggs cooked properly, with the same hash browns. This dish worked well, though it had a little bit too much truffle oil.Taste: ?????? Drunken Strawberries:If there was success, then this dish was the one. It comes with Nutella inside the crepe, with orange liquor as a substitute to maple syrup, abs this worked wonders.Taste: ?????
I ordered the Greens More and the Philly Cheesesteak. I thought the mushrooms and vegetables in the sandwich was rich and had a wonderful gravy flavour. And the cheeze was meaty and delicious better than most melted cheezes that I’ve had. As for the Greens More it had lovely dressing and the inclusion of the pea shoots really added an extra level of flavour. The highlight was the mouthfeel I absolutely loved the way the cucumbers were cut; they were cut like thin strips of crinkle fries but the way it played on my tongue was excellent. The biggest disappointment was the water. Unfortunately the water tasted stale and I didn’t finish my water.
