I make the best chocolate mochacinno every day, using freshly roasted and ground coffee from The Roasterie. A friend introduced me to this place, where he's patronized for almost 30 years. When COVID first arrived and many places shut down, Roasterie kept their streetside window open to order and pick up. I decided to support this locally family owned and operated business, that went to the measures they took to stay open and keep their customers supplied. They grind my beans to the specific number 4 for my Espresso machine.
Widest variety of beans in Calgary, from really cool regions, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Jamaica, you name it. Coffee is roasted in house, staff are sassy in the way you want. A Calgary 30 year old staple, with cool swag on the walls.
That this shop is still open 37 years in, speaks as testament to the quality of the coffees, roasted on site. I first visited this roasterie back in 1985, and they had my favorite decaf then, today they are still serving up the same delish coffees ground to your liking. It's not a complicated shop- they serve what they do best. A great cup of coffee!! If you are a coffee hound stop in... 3rd Ave and 10 St NW in Kensington. You will wonder why you haven't before this.

It’s pretty ironic that the best Vietnamese ice coffee in Calgary is sold by a caucasian Canadian. Even Vietnamese restaurant owners come here to buy coffee for their business.I couldn’t stress enough how good the coffee here is!
I love this place! The staff are always friendly. They have so many selections of beans and very knowledgeable about coffee.I also did a delivery from their place, one of their staff literally handed me my order. They knocked my door, waited for me to open the door, handed me my order and said thank you. It’s simple but so rare to get that delivery service these days!
The girl with the short brown hair was the sweetest and most lovely person I have ever met. She made me a wonderful coffee!
Went when they were really busy and was impressed by the girls behind the counter. They helped you pick out a flavor and type of coffee and filed your order quickly. Don't know what kind of money they make but hope the owners appreciate the service these ladies give. They are very good. Thank you!
