Food is good. But only if they could hire people who are not super rude to customers or at least listen to what customer is saying without making a face, that would be nice.Just because you service decent food, don’t assume that people will keep coming to you irrespective of how you interact with the person paying for the food.Plus staff hovers over the payment system, pressurizing you to tip more.FINAL WORD!! Good food but leaves a bad taste because of staff’s indifference and rude behavior.
Amazing tacos! I loved them when they were in China town and still love them in their new location. If you want tacos just like you'd get in Mexico this is the place. It's not an easy task to hit all your braises and salsas so perfectly or constantly. Don't hesitate, just go!
Pre - pandemic. This was our go to taco place. Always consistently amazing. HoweverLast week we order take out, we got the pork, beef and mushroom and cactus tacos. The pork was so over cooked it was inedible, the mushroom tacos were missing all the toppings and and we were only given onions and cilantro as toppings for the rest of the tacos. And guacamole was watery and separated To top this horribly disappointing experience we also got food poisoning. For paying over $100.00 we were so disappointed I would not recommend moose and poncho to anyone anymore.
This place deserves all the stars! Everything is excellent here, the food is top quality, with evocative flavours, and authentic flair. It is prepared fresh, on a timely manner, and served in generous portions. The people behind it are afable, kind, informative, and very talented cooks.
Portion is generous, braised beef is spicy and flavourful. The restaurant is located in a fancy food court. For 6$ a taco, it might not be the cheapest but I think it worth the price. Highly recommend!
My wife and I had heard some great reviews about this restaurant so we gave it a try and it certainly lived up to the expectations! The meats were very tender and flavourful. My wife is pescetarian and loved the hongos and napales taco. We ordered take-out and everything was neatly packed and labeled. Very friendly and helpful staff too.Although we didn’t sit down to enjoy our food there, their location is really nice inside a brand new and very trendy European market concept with a dine-in area and outdoor patio right by a lovely park.
I had really high hopes for the MnP. But sadly i found the flavour underwhelming.
Good but nothing crazy. Pretty salty and takes too long to prep the order.
I was in Calgary for only an afternoon and i was craving for some taco after so much walking around. Found this place on google and otherwise i wouldn't found it as the location (July 2021) was kinda hidden in a small strip mall.It didn't disapoint it was delicious! With a nice selection of meat and differents salsa available. Service was excellent and VERY quick! The woman also gave me a nice recommendation of a nearby park (prince) to enjoy the sunset before heading to the airport.10/10 would recommend, check out the new location coming soon
100% the best tacos in Calgary. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic tacos! The Birria is only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but it’s worth it for sure!
