One of the best places in the city, the staff a amazing the food is delicious, the location and decor is uniquely stunning. Its an experience every time I visit, it feels upscale yet warm and inviting. They have just enough options to cater to whatever your mood maybe, plus their desserts are to die for.
As we don't go into the city very often, The Guild Restaurant was a surprise. Plenty of patio seating with umbrellas giving shade. It was cooler inside. The service was fairly good but it could have been much better. The food we had was excellent, small tourtieres with glazed reduction, mashed potatoes and extra mushrooms and asparagus, large helpings of both. The dessert menu was not much. All in all a good place for lunch or dinner.
We have eaten here a couple of times. Excellent food, excellent service, outstanding cocktails, and a great atmosphere. Came here at the end of July in 2022 for an anniversary dinner. A great night. Our server (Russ) was friendly, accommodating, and went over and above to ensure we had a great night. We will definitely be back.
A truly excellent restaurant. On our trip to Calgary, we went there twice. Both times we had a large group of seven people and no reservation and yet they managed to accommodate us. The food is great, with a good variety of options to choose from. The first time we went I ordered the grilled jerk half chicken, with pineapple salsa and mango habanero sauce. It was truly incredible! I didn't take any pictures because I was too busy enjoying it! The second time I had the grilled mahi-mahi with the spaghetti squash. The fish was delicious, but the spaghetti squash was truly exceptional. It's buttery, savory, rich and even better than real pasta! I never thought I'd say those words about spaghetti squash, but it's true. I definitely recommend this restaurant!
Chose The Guild for our first meal of our Canadian holiday. A wide range of styles is covered, from pizza, to jerk, to salads, steaks and burgers. If all of the food in Canada is this good we are in for a treat. Nice range of beers as well. There are outside seats underneath an arcade or a very nice dark wood interior with imposing bar. A main and beer each with service cost about $170 for 4.
We had a lovely meal here. The food was delicious and the young man Mitch who served us provided faultless service. He also seemed very proud to work there and was passionate about the menu, which was refreshing to see! He is an asset to the restaurant!
Since my partner and I both love wine, we decided to try this place. My workmate told me that they have good selection of fine wine and that I would totally enjoy dining here. So, we finally did come and found the place to our liking. It is neat and has a warm lighting which is very easy to the eyes. We had wine and had ask our server for a good food recommendation to pair our selected wine. We were very thankful for the recommendation we had. Food were very delicious and satisfying.
Our last night in Canada and we went with Canadian friends to the Guild. Pleasant enough venue. I found throughout our three weeks in Canada, that restaurants (generally) had two options for vegetarians - pizza or gnocchi! It reminded me of Britain in the 70s! Our friends all had (and enjoyed) steak (Porterhouse, I think). There was nothing on the main menu that sounded vaguely interesting so reluctantly I ordered macaroni cheese (which was a starter). I didn't mind that it was small, it was after all a starter, but I would have expected it to be bubbling hot. It wasn't. It wasn't even warm. I just left it. The waiter took it off the bill which was nice, after all, I'd only had one bite, but I was so disappointed. Mac cheese is so easy to get right! I would have loved a spinach lasagne, or mushroom stroganoff.. anything except pizza and gnocchi! Please experiment with veggie food, there are a lot of us!

Had drinks in the afternoon and dinner in the evening. Great food, great drink, great service. Couldn’t fault our experience!
