Excellent little fish/chip place. Took my authentic English mother in law for a birthday dinner here, she loved it. I am quoting her,“the fish is so lovely and fried perfectly, the chips are double fried, wonderful! The mushy peas taste like real English mushy peas! Although they are a bit runny” (The mushy peas did become more mushy after a few minutes)I also really enjoyed the meal. For sure coming back when I get the fishnchips craving.
Excellent plate of fish and chips, fish was fresh and cooked perfectly and chips were nice thick cut. Definitely recommend.
We read about these guys charging a higher than average price for fish and chips, so we decided to try for ourselves.Food quality was fresh, delicious and well prepared. We had the cod and each had one very large piece of fresh prepared fish and a generous portion of home cut fires. The home style fries were tasty with a perfect balance of crunch and taste.Overall it feel it was worth the price and would recommend. It's was $19.95 each and honestly, when are you going to get that quality for less. Even OJs down the street charges close to the same.Decide for yourself, but in our opinion that value was definitely there for a quality, freshly cooked English Style Fish and Chips.
This might be just me but the fries are greasy. I could take the fries and squeeze the oil out of them. Fish is just okay. The Server was really polite and thoughtful. As always I find the bathroom needed a good scrub.
Terrible service. Terrible portion size, terrible price point, and terrible tasting cod. I would rather eat 3 plates at Joey's for the same price. And satisfaction. It's not hard to make fish and chips.
It's a small place and 30mins from where I live (far NE) but their fish & chips are so worth the drive to dine in.Staff is amazing and friendly.
Best fish n chips in the city! Absolutely love this place, great food and service!
Best fish and chips in the city...BUT...they're never open. We've gone numerous times only to find the shop closed. Wish they had normal business hours then we'd go more often!
Absolutely amazing fish and chips AND mushy peas. (And I spent nearly 40 years in the North of England!) Tartare sauce also excellent. Only sorry that I didn't have room to try the coleslaw.
I normally love British Style Fish and Chips and we went here after hearing good reviews but it was pretty expensive for what you get and very greasy. Nobody in our group enjoyed the food and we won't return.
