Nice and clean vegetarian place. I had the pho, it was good but not amazing. Maybe I should try another menu. Service was great.
This was one of the Vietnamese restaurant we have been wanting to try. We didn't realize this was plant base, but we gave it a try. We were pleasantly surprised how delicious they were. We ordered the Vermicelli with beef and Vermicelli with Spice Lemongrass Tofu. The appearance nearly resemble like beef, texture slightly tougher than regular beef, but flavor from the seasoning is perfectly. Definitely will come back and try other dishes.
My office popped over as our new student is vegan and we wanted to make sure she felt included. Never really been to a vegan restaurant before. Holy cow it was so good. I had the vermicelli. So good. The "fake" chicken was a bit weird but the "beef" was very good and the substitute for fish sauce added a nice unquie flavor. Highly impressed and will be back for sure.
This is a really delicious plant based restaurant. I had the fake "beef" spicy pho soup on a cool windy rainy day and it hit the spot perfectly. It was really good and I didn't need to add any extra sauces or anything. Overall had a great experience and the food was great!
Their veggie laksa was good. It was creamy but the soup is thin. The taste is not overpowering. Their veggie pad thai is also good which I ordered as a takeout. My palette prefer a little saltier tho.
Incredible food, the fact that everything here is plant based makes it even better!!Family run, and everything I have ever tasted here has been incredible. I have never tasted tofu anywhere near as good as the house-made stuff here. Another absolute must-visit every time I am in town.
My daughter became vegetarian and we have been trying out a lot of vegetarian/vegan restaurants. In our opinion, Tamarind Vietnamese Grill and Noodle House is the best vegan restaurant in town. Now we go there every week. Please note that it may take awhile for you to get your food but we don’t mind the wait as it is totally worth it.
I am not a vegan, but this place is one of my favorite places to eat in Calgary. Bun Hue is my favourite noodle soup here - so flavorful and hearty.Banh Xeo is so crispy and delicious. Eggplant stir fry was shockingly good - I would have this every day. Spring rolls and salad rolls are so yummy too. I can’t wait to try out more dishes from here.
Ordered the Laksa and the crepe! The flavour was amazing and the noodles were perfect. We didn’t think it was plant based until they informed us at the door which took us by surprise! The staff was super friendly and nice. They even made sure to tell us how to properly eat the crepe which was super cool. Definitely taking my vegan mom there next time!
I was staying nearby and popped in to grab some dinner one night unaware it was a vegan specific restaurant, unbothered by this and still hungry I ordered, prices were reasonable and my meal was FANTASTIC, 5/5 recommending to anyone in the area. The staff was friendly, Food was ready fast and amazing once I got to my room and chowed down. I'll be eating here often while I'm in town.
