I really wanted to hate TPot and never return but I love the food. Their service is often a luck of the draw most of the time, but the food is always amazing. Every time they miss my order or make me wait endlessly for an order, I swear I would never return and yet I can’t find a better replacement. I’ve tried and tried but I keep comparing it to TPot.The past two times, the service was actually decent which prompted this review. I can forgive the bad service when the food is great but never the reverse. If you don’t care for the service, here’s a place for good Chinese food. Maybe they’re finally trying to improve their service?

I know this is not the best place to recommend Mrs Anita Iawson but I just feel very excited with the way she put me through my forex crytopcurrency account. I saw millions of people recommending this great woman with great experience, I invested $500 and received $7,300 as my profits to my wallet. No extra charge, no commission. Not bad, not the best. We go here because it’s decent and it’s the closest to our house.

Had a fantastic experience with Alan and his team for my daughter's 100day /baptism celebration. Alan was very attentive and easy to work with and made sure we had everything we needed for the day. He was easy to communicate with through email and gave us his phone number for any question prior to event. His team even went above and beyond by providing centre pieces and printed out menus for our event without us even asking. To be honest excellent service isnt always expected at Chinese restaurants but we were pleasantly surprised by how attentive and good the service was. Our guests were very happy with the food as well and we would definitely recommend having your event there.

One of my favorite Dim Sum places in town. I have gone for Dim Sum more times than I can count, I have been here for Tea and for supper. I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal. I recommend going early, as they fill up fast.

What an inauspicious start to the Lunar New Year. Dropped by T.Pot China Bistro, Harvest Hills, in Calgary for what I thought would be a quick order of Dry Fried Rice Noodles and Beef and their popular Deep-fried Sesame Balls. Paid at the cashier and was told the order would be half an hour. Waited. Then told it would be another 20 minutes. When they told me yet another 20 minutes, I asked for my money back. No apologies, just that they said it's a busy day. In the Year of the Tiger, I'm going to look for a new restaurant.

Order Wagu beef noodle special. There were 4-5 big pieces of just fat. The beef was gray and i suspect from 1982 or 1892 and definitely not wagu. Broth was pure grease dure to the amount of fat. Why paint such a beautiful picture of a meal on your menu? Id expect that at mcdonalds. Honestly wish i had just gone to mcdonalds.

This is another restaurant that doesn't actually give their employees tips. The service is even worse than before the pandemic, because the employees have lost almost all motivation to work. They apparently get $3 extra on top of minimum wage, regardless of how much in tips are gathered, which while Alberta has no regulation in terms of how tips are managed is disingenuous when you make tip.The quality of the food is also average, but the service is horrible. All the servers and waitresses are loud, and take forever to take your order. I was also demanded to give a tip and was called cheap if I didn't when I went to the restaurant two weeks ago. What a horrible way to treat customers. If the service is bad, then obviously you don't tip as much. Even if I did tip, it's not as if the employees are getting the tips.

My wife and I just had dim sum at T.Pot today and were extremely grossed out by the food especially the clump of hair that was mixed in the sticky rice. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if it was just a piece of hair but it was a clump of hair similar to when you clean your drains (see attached pic). How is this even possible? To top things off, the server acted like it was just a normal occurrence and said no worries we will bring you another one. In addition, every item that we ordered was tasteless especially the congee. With respect to the rude service, we are accustomed to the typical service at Chinese restaurants as we are Chinese but for crying out loud the servers at T.Pot seem to made it a priority to be rude. The owners of T.Pot should be embarrassed with their restaurant.

The best dim sum I’ve ever had. Took 1 star off as the service is not too too great.
