Edit: I get Swiss Chalet as a comfort food. And I'm recovering from covid and wanted it for my recovery meal. The app kept crashing when I went to pay so I moved to my laptop. Within minutes it said the food was on the way, I live ten minutes away, I waited an hour and called the customer service line, I started to tell the woman about waiting even though the food was on the way and she interrupted me a few times quite rudely like me calling was huge inconvenience, then put me on hold for a while before I hung up. The food arrived shortly after, pretty cold. I know this might be an app issue but this isn't the first time I've ordered and it's taken a while, I would normally pick up, but I am sick and would not want to put anyone at risk.Food is always consistent.
My family and I have been coming here for about 12 years. We like this location because in all those years, we've never had a bad meal - and the one time our food was cold, they fixed things so quickly there was nothing to be upset about. Lisa, our favourite server ever, is amazing. She's friendly, efficient, and manages to make us feel as if we've "come home" to eat. She even remembered our food choices after all the insanity of covid. The food is always fresh, and cooked well. We've never had undercooked baked potatoes, or wilted salads, or pies with wet crust.

Called the store the guy on the phone said I had to pick up cause driver forgot when I talked to the manager no apology nothing waited for more then hour, cold foodthey don't even deserve half a star
Great service! Waitress was kind and on the ball. No, waiting which was great because I came in with low blood sugars and sporadic working brain.
Wouldn't answer the phone. Called restaurant SEVEN TIMES after my order was 20 minutes late. Each time it was either left to ring until a message that said call again later, or someone would pick up the line and hang up on me. Haven't even got my food and I'm already unimpressed.
We go to Swiss chalet every Saturday night because we know the food will always be excellent and quick and the service Shay gives us is always friendly, prompt, and she always goes the extra mile to make sure our time is the highlight of our week
I just ordered from here (take out). I ordered wings and added on the veggies and dip. Why even offer this as an option if your aren’t going to put your heart into it?
The restaurant and washroom were really clean. The portions are huge and everything came out super hot. First time in a Swiss Chalet and it was an overall really good experience.
Terrible service and scam portion size. Ordered a family feast, we were presented with incredibly small portions meant for one, four packets of butter with missing buns. We called the Signal Hill location and spoke to a lady with an Indian accent to complain and inquire over our missing items. She immediately took a rude and increasingly louder tone as the conversation went on. Her reply to where our missing buns were was "you get four sides, that's it!" , completely ignoring what we just said. She then refused to hand the phone to her manager or comment on the portion sizes.Terrible service and very average food at an inflated price. I would not support this establishment and recommend better training for staff.
My family and I felt very disrespected by the portion sizes and customer service at this establishment. We thought to try Swiss Chalet after years thinking the food might have improved, that was a big mistake. I feel ripped off.
