Me & my husband went for supper Saturday night. I forget our servers name but she was awesome! Super friendly & She knew without hesitation how we could combo our meals to get more food for cheaper than if we'd just got it how we ordered it.Food was very good & good size portions.We'll definatley visit this location again
Ordered from here a number of times, it is consistently good. Crispy wings and chicken is very good.One note- the poutine is absurdly big when it is being delivered (legitimately 3+ pounds). It should probably be smaller or called family size.
I ordered a $165 order from skip the dishes and when I began eating my chicken Caesar salad I found a bug in it. I contacted the store and the manager offered to have another meal delivered to me but who in their right mind would want another meal after finding a bug in there food. Absolutely horrible sanitary practices if I’m finding insects in my meal.
Sam and Moe are managing this incredibly clean restaurant with class and customer service excellence. Thank you guys for helping make my husbands birthday memorable! We will be back!
Went for dinner and it was a good meal. The highlight of the evening was Naz, my server. She’s always been great to deal with and Sunday it was super enjoyable to chat with her. Thanks Naz!
I worked at this Swiss Chalet for about 2 years. The staff over here is very friendly and helpful. Recently I got my field job and I had to leave this place, while leaving I feel that I’m leaving my family. The owner, managers and the other staff all were like my family members and I really miss them. They really helped me though out my work. I would really suggest this place for work specially if you’re student. Thank you for all the great time ?.
I had salad for dinner and ended up vomiting the next 48 hrs. It was just before Christmas, and I had visitors from out of town. It cost me over 400 in wages because I couldn’t leave my bathroom. I’ve never been that sick before. The lost wages before Christmas made things worse, plus my unhappy customers.Everyone I see a Swiss Chalet now I gag.
I worked at swiss chalet for two years and it was an amazing experience, being surrounded by wonderful co workers who are so diligent with their job, the management team who invest so much in the growth and personal development of their employees not to mention the great recipies with amazing flavors. I cherish those moments and won't trade it for anything.
The shawnessy location in Calgary delivered my food without ringing the doorbell and it was -26 outside. Not only did it take 1.5 hours for the delivery by time I realized it was delivered it was completely frozen. I was supposed to receive a call from the manager the following day and nothing. No call. No refund. No nothing other than being called a liar by the evening manager and delivery driver. My security cameras say that i was not lying.
The food was good! The server was very nice to us. The manager was very accommodating and helped us make our Christmas get together a memorable one, There was no private room for our party but he seated us in one corner and blocked few tables for us so that we can have a little privacy to play some games. It was really fun and all of us had a good time. Thanks to the owner and manager. We will for sure come back to this branch at Shawville Blvd. SE.
