Service is very unfriendly and does the bare minimum in hospitality. Have been here two seperate times and had sausage rolls that were straight up RAW both times. The first instance it was pork and they barely reacted, they offered us something else but they did not seem to care at all neither were they apologetic about serving us raw pork. The workers there seem to give off a strong vibe of being annoyed and do not care very much. They ask if you'd like your sausage roll heated only for her to forget, and having to remind them to give us cuttlery more than once when it's clear we are sitting and eating. We decided to give it another try on a seperate occasion thinking it was a one off and tried the Morrocan lamb sausage roll, cut it in half and the center was cold and raw. When we mentioned it to the cashier she disputed it and was combative instead of apologetic. They insisted it was cooked and we should eat it and complained that heating it would burn the edges. She made us feel difficult when it was honestly inedible and we had quietly eaten the other dishes, barley beef soup and panini, of which the former was mediocre and the flavorless while the latter was pretty good. They gave us a refund in the end but their respect and appreciation for their customers is awful. At least in the first instance the chef was honest and didn't argue that we were eating bloody pork, however he nor anyone else there seemed very bothered by it. Both times I've been the service here has been terrible and the food has been lacking flavor and/or raw, do not recommend.
This place has the most delicious food. Tastes home cooked and super fresh ingredients. I love that they have take home meals to eat later as well. Their sausage rolls are a delight.
Very quiet, at times can be busy on weekends and holidays. Friendly staff, the rotisserie chicken is superb so tasty and juicy. Best chicken in the city.
I could smell the food cooking a block away and it smelled so good ! All the food was great and they have a good points system
Nice little store with seating options inside and outside that carries a small but good selection of groceries, lots of ready made meal options and they have a coffee bar. I like their matcha latte and sometimes pick up last minute items like fresh veggies and fruit - they are pricey though.
We love Sunterra. we live in Garrison woods and WISH WISH WISH you guys would open a location here! We either go to Britannia, Scirocco drive or this location. Our favourite things are the ready to take away meals. We have tried a lot of them and have never been disappointed. However, if we had to pick a fave, it would be the red thai chicken currey. What a great way to have an awesome dinner and so easy and really quite cost effective. Come on Sunterra!!! open up in Marda Loop please!!!!
I live in Red deer and I went to this location, because is close to my husband parents. In Red Deer you order first and pay after. This location you have to pay first, but I didn't know and is not sings. Anyways I bought a family sice spaghetti and have little sauce and it was dry when my family ate it and the bread that comes with when soggy, because it wasn't wrapped properly. My turkey dinner came without the best part....the gravy!!!! And the vegetables had no taste no seasoning. Very disappointed.
Went here for the Thanksgiving dinners and it was absolutely amazing. This place is worth coming and trying their meals. Also the fresh orange juice is one of the best out there!
I am quite impressed by this place, great for a work/study session with tasty coffee and a wide variety of well priced food. It has free and fast wifi internet and many spots with power outlets for your computer.
Great place to have next door. Fresh baking and a small selection of grocery items. A great place to grab a coffee on the way into the office.
