This was a great find in downtown. The restaurant looked full and not promising but luckily we were able to grab a table without a reservation. The decor is very modern and spacious. The tea is delicious and has a lovely smoky flavour. The sushi has a local twist which I found quite cool. The only downside was the service was quite slow and there was too much rice compared to filling. I recommend the thinly slices raw beef sushi. Overall, I would go there again and try some different rolls.
The music was pretty loud and we could not speak across the table. We went there to have a Sukiyaki but were told it had to be ordered 1 day in advance. The quality of the food was good, but not awesome.

We were very pleased to find this restaurant upon returning to Calgary after a weekend in the mountains. Here we found high quality Japanese food, some decent buzz, friendly service and good value. We didn’t have a huge meal but enough to validate the quality of their shrimp tempura and try out several sushi rolls including a local variation including thinly sliced raw beef. Happy to recommend.
Absolutely fantastic. From ambience, to food & service. Great with allergies so I felt extremely safe. Run, dont walk to this spot.
