This is another great restaurant located in the NW of Calgary. The food is delicious & service was wonderful.Due to limited spacing, I do recommend making reservations or arrive early before the lunch/dinner rush starts.

Love this restaurant! I am so glad I found this Korean restaurant! Absolutely delicious and reminds me of back home! I can tell cook puts alot of effort making the food and banchans. I love visiting Sudam and recommended to all my friends. It's 26-30mins drive from where I live but it's worth it to drive and visit. Everytime I visit, korean lady server is always pleasant and nice. I give them 5 stars all the way. Next time I visit, I will be trying their summer special cold noodles! Can't wait!!!

Great customer service. Felt very welcomedWell cooked smoked pork?tender and juicy. Average kimchi soupLiked the atmosphere. All tables were full but didn’t feel crowded

Overall the taste of food is average level. You feel nothing goes wrong, but none of them make you excited. They charge $1.5 for refill one side. It was not a surprise on the bill but owner could spread the cost to other dishes making more sense to me.Generally I felt so rushing to have lunch in the weekend here. Even the food itself , I felt it was like a fast Korean food. Not very enjoyable on either the food or the vibe here.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think They are the only Korean restaurant in Calgary that serves boussam. This dish just smells sooooo heavenly. I usually give 5 stars but there was an incident once that did not get rectified, we never asked for anything to be free but neither was anything offered. We still come back to eat here because mistakes happen, and it does anywhere you go.

This is a spot you can easily pass with a busy pub on one side and a child gym/daycare on the other but take a moment and you can witness a steady stream of traffic in and out of this little gem. They do have a decent online menu with dishes numbered for ease along with descriptions and pictures of many of them. We opted for some take out ordering in person as they were too busy to answer the phone. This was apparent on entering the small eatery as all the dozen or so tables were full and the few serving staff were remarkably busy. Knowing what we wanted made the ordering a lot smoother and easier for the staff. 30 mins later we were in possession of Hanip chicken and Smoked Bossam. It did not look much initially but on opening it there was a lot more than first thought. The fried chicken was tender and juicy, though a little more zip on the sweet/sour sauce would have been better. There was no real crunch on the chicken as the sauce was added on top but was still very good The Smoked Bossum came in its own little airline style tray with salads and looked exquisite. Even the detail on the salads was impressive. The kimchi had a nice crunch and was not overpowering. The accompanying sauces had a little kick to them which was good and possibly some peanuts in...not sure but liked them. This is not fast food but certainly decent food, so do not expect it to be cheap and some of the dishes certainly are not. If you are looking for something a little different you cannot go far wrong here based on first impression. Now to return? Would certainly like to when in the area as the menu is far to nice and appealing to stop at one or two dishes…

We had Bulgogi Jeongol. It is $44.99. Food was okay but it didn't come with much meat. Kim chi and bean sprouts was really bland. Service was good. Though it seems to be a busy place, we don't think we will go back again.

Came specifically for the Army Stew (actually called Budae Jeongol Hot Pot). Sooo delicious! So many different flavours working together... spicy, sweet, tangy, and salty. Liked most of the side dishes included too.

First time ordering Korean food and very glad to have gone here. The staff was very helpful in explaining the different dishes and what would be a good selection for a couple first-timers. We were very pleased with the recommended choices!! Food was delicious!
