Took my wife here this afternoon, she was craving pancakes and has never been to a Smitty's before. I haven't been since I was a teenager. Let me tell you the food was great, wife adored the Cinnamon Swirl pancakes and Karen our server is the gold star standard of this industry. Thank you Smitty's, thank you Karen for a wonderful dining experience!
I came in the restaurant a couple of days and let me tell you. I had the most amazing server there. Her name was Ryley. She welcomed me and my family with great enthusiasm. She was very nice and kind. Every time I finished my coffee, Ryley was there to refill. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I love the welcoming environment Ryley created. I love this Smitty's. 11/10 would eat here again
We have always loved Smittys for over 35 years and have gone to various ones in Alberta - lived overseas for some time and missed it so much - we now come to East Hills Smittys fairly often and not once have we been disappointed! Have to say we usually have something from the breakfast menu - to me this is what they specialise and excel in - the service has always been great and really friendlyA big shout out to the present manager (sorry forgot his name) who saw that we had been charged twice and had our account reimbursed before I could go in and ask about it - that’s service!!
Has breakfast here for the first time last weekend. The place wasn't too busy considering it was a Saturday. The restaurant was clean, staff were pleasant and pancakes were good.
My servers name was Ryley, she was so kind and would come at any inconvenience, if I needed water she was there, and she was kind to my kids, what a great place! Will definitely come again
Was craving a breakfast skillet and well use to like smittys ones (use to work at a different one years ago) but well the one I got was black.. was not bad but dar from good

Let me start by telling you this: You will NOT regret coming here!! I had lunch here for Thanksgiving and boy, oh boy, food was incredibly tasty. There wasn't a single unsatisfied tummy at my table and our waitress was a very sweet lady with an amazing attitude.:)
The service was great. Our waiter was very polite and tried to be as present as possible despite being short staffed.However the food was awful. We were so hungry that we ate it but definitely not worth the price.I got the Salisbury Steak and it was no more than a burned frozen hamburger with gravy on top. My wife got the roast beef dip. She said that it was ok but not impressed. The kids menu is a nice option and again the waiter was amazing with our son bringing an activity book. He got the nuggets, again they looked like microwaved frozen nuggets and the ketchup never arrived.To summarize A for the service D- for the food.
This location is always enjoyable. Friendly staff, decent food and reasonable prices.
