Very busy sports bar. Decent outdoor patio seating.Gets very noisy when there's a game on.Super busy on Fridays and weekends.Friday specials is half off wine and appies; makes for a great cheap night out!
If you’ve never heard of deep fried cheesecake..You have now and this is the place where they have it it is honestly, TO LIVE FOR!!!!!!! Highly suggest you visit this place that my spirit is really nice the stuff is really friendly they also have pool tables and field he was sheets which is nice and the bartender definitely knows what he’s doing if you ask him for a certain tasting shot he will make it happen … he’s basically a magician…. Also there’s always cute girls and boys there I mean always lol
It's okay. Nothing particularly wrong, just not my kind of place. I personally don't care about sports and it's very sports oriented. Their Sunday $10 nachos are decent!
Definitely the best neighbourhood pub in Kensington and one of the most fun in Calgary! The pizza is insanely good, especially for gluten free, and the bartenders and servers are always amazing
Usually pubs and food go together like frogs and lawnmowers, vampires and tanning beds, braille and mittens. The food here is excellent, the prices are more than fair, the staff are beautiful people who offer nothing short of the best service which is always prompt, andattentive. The owners have taken years to perfect their craft and it shows. I highly recommend this place for lunch, afternoon drinks or late night fun. I think the chicken avocado sandwich is the best thing on the menu.

A friend brought me here on Friday for ½ priced appetizers and everything we had was great! It was really busy but we where served quickly by friendly staff.Had the potatoe skins, deep fried pickles and the rib pits(s&p). Each dish had a great quantity pickles came with a Chipotle mayo that wasn't actually spicy which I appreciated. Can't wait to go back and bring my classmates this time!
Posting a review of a server in a pub is not typically what I would do, but Bailey at Side Street Pub deserves a 5 star google review. Her patience with the patrons and ability to manage everyone’s requests - especially during COVID, was exceptional. If you visit this venue, hopefully you get to sit in Baileys section! Thanks for the great customer service on Friday night!

first time there, watched the NFL GAME. Great food and spot on service. highly recommend this place and aim to head there again.
