Very enjoyable meal with decent a serving. Food was well prepared and perfect temperature. Server was very friendly and prompt. Highly recommend
Servers and environment is good. However the actual food was less than desirable. The steak I ordered was burned twice, and their idea of garlic bread is just white bread with the garlic sauce on ONE side. So if you just want a place to eat some fries and drinks and watch a game then this is a good place; otherwise, find someplace better.
Basic little Pub with decent food, reasonable prices, good assortment of VLT's if you are into that sort of thing. Good place to go for a quick bite and a pint (or two).TV's could use some updating but that's just being picky...
The wife and I try to come every weekend. Sundays have amazing specials and Saturday is $5/pound wings! But the real reason we come is the server Joy, she is exactly that! Always in such a great mood and super helpful. She is easy to talk to and if she's not in, regulars are constantly asking for her! Come by on a weekend morn/afternoon and see for yourself!EDIT: Joy is no longer there, but they did do a major reno during covid and still have great staff and great pub food... 40c wings on Friday, try the honey hot ?
I used to go here all the time when I worked in the area. Shotz is a solid "ok" in my book. Cheap drinks, mediocre food, staff is friendly, they offer VLTs and cheap pool. The place is a dive but it is clean. On occasion they'll have event nights like a live DJ or karaoke.

I love this place. Kylee is really kind hearted and has a charismatic personality. She’s quick, smart and checks in all the time to make sure you have what you need. That kind of excellent service is sure appreciated. The food is so yummy and I really feel safe and welcome there. The Butter chicken is so authentic. They renovated and made it a safe environment so customers feel less at risk. That and Kylee’s positive attitude makes it my number 1 VLT lounge choice in Calgary. It’s bright, fresh and clean. I’ll be appreciating the experience and spending my money there more often because I’ve enjoyed every experience. Awesome vibe! Thanks Kylee.
