Got Rainbow roll, sushi and shrimp tempura for takeout. The server almost forgot my tempura until I pointed it out. When we got home and opened the box this was what it looked like. The$8 Rainbow roll was sadly sitting in a giant takeout container. Sushi rice was way too stick and bland. However, tempura was okay though.
We always come here for the happy hour special; 3 for 2 beers and lots of apertizer and 4 sushi choices for the special. Everything we've tried here tastes great. I recommend the ninja role and pork cheeks. Happy hour is 14:00-16:30 and menu is online. Place is pretty spacious and very clean and service is very good as well. This is my come to place for late lunch with beer
Awesome sushi spot in south Calgary! One of my go to spots in the city for sushi. Recommend trying the fire dragon roll if you dine in… the plate is literally on FIRE ? Really good service!In the back area of Sho is their cool secret restaurant where you access it through an old classic Coca-Cola fridge. A good place for sushi. I particularly enjoyed the gyoza and avocado roll. Friendly service. I would like to come back sometime for the happy hour.
Good sushi restaurant in general. Not the best one in my opinion but one of the best in Southwest Calgary. The presentation of the plates are always great but it’s a little pricey. I like the spicy spicy charshu. So yummy. The sashimis and the rolls was also fresh and tasty.
Best sushis in the city. The staff is friendly. Quick service. Amazing food. I strongly recommend
Service was great and food was scrumptious. I also liked the vibe of the place but it was just on the pricier side in my opinion. Overall, it's a great sushi place to go to here in Calgary.
This is a great go-to spot for great quality sushi. We went during Happy Hour and I really enjoyed the Fire Dragon Roll and Seared Salmon. Presentation was amazing and food is very reasonably priced. Server was super nice and friendly. Will definitely return!
We ordered an assortment of sushi dishes and all of them were unique and flavourful. The fish tasted very high quality; we especially loved the salmon dishes. The owner Emily is so personable and kind. We really appreciated her taking the time to speak with us. Thank you for an amazing dinner.
On this occasion we received what I would consider to be average service ( we had to get our servers' attention on a few occasions. When he spilled about 8 ounces of water on the floor he simply left it there for patrons to slip on as they walked by), and the food was average as well. We liked some dishes, and others ( especially the gluten-free options) not so much. The prices are good here so the place was packed. Maybe that is why we struggled to get better service.
