Simply the best! Staff was awesome and helped me pick an amazing dish. Portion was generous and the food was amazing. Highly recommend if in the area.
I order #10 and #6(Large) for #10 i ask for no potato, no sour cream, no hummus, no fita bread, just extra lettuce ,onion and tomato. The server place the lettuce ,onion and tomato in the side they usually put the hummus and potato.Then suddenly the cook said it’s too much and the server told him that I only have lettuce , tomato and onion for sides. And then he keeps saying it’s too much, who’s that for and the server point me out and the cook look at me and said it’s too much. Wow. I always go here twice a month and always the people is friendly. But today it’s so embarrassing and to think there is a lot of people who can hear him being grumpy and rude just because of a lettuce. why do you have to treat your customers like i’m stealing lettuce ?.
1) quality and quantity are not the same. Increased prices which I understand due to inflation but quality kinda sucks now compare to 4-5 years. Garlic potatoes were good, now they suck they are smaller and have no flavor. The chicken has chunks of fat and have been undercooked a couple times.2) the staff are much nicer to Indian people and often speak in Punjabi with them and give them better service and food quantity/quality. Not playing the race card here as I am a person of color too, but this is something I have noticed quite a bit here. Just yesterday they served a customer very nicely, but we're so rude to an indigenous person (she was a very polite customer and deserved better service).
It was great experience for our organization to order platters from their McKnight location. They personally delivered our food at our outdoor location. Delivery was on time, food items were tasty and fresh and staff was super helpful with good customer service. We even got complimentary baklava. Their prices are good too. Overall it was a hit.

Food tastes good but I noticed recently it has a lot of fat/tissue in it. Prices went up quite a bit because of inflation but that’s understandable but if the prices go up why does the quality and quantity go down ? The higher prices are supposed to cover the higher expenses but why does that have to decrease the amount of food. Great local location and very polite and friendly staff. Kitchen/work area is always clean and I have never seen it dirty in my 4 years of eating here which gives me confidence my food is handled safely and cleanly. Portions should be larger for what you are charging like how it was back in the day.
Wow super disappointed...been coming here for years since they first opened and I have never been so dissatisfied..a medium donair is now $10 and there is literally only two tiny strips of meat cut up and put in the whole thing. I get the price increase but what happened to the portion sizes and value for the money even paid? See pictures posted.
Visiting here from Toronto recently. My wife and her friend ordered chicken shawarma plates and I got a donair wrap. I’ve had many shawarma wraps and the food quality from Shawarma Palace is amazing. I highly recommend. I was in Calgary for 2 days and both days, I ate here. If you are in the area and you like Mediterranean food, I highly recommend.

When I ordered the chicken plate online I specified no pita wraps because I have celiac.I got a call asking if I'd prefer extra veggies and potatoes instead of their rice, which has macaroni/wheat in it. I was super appreciative of the call and looked forward to the meal.Unfortunately, the chicken was really bad... it was extremely overcooked, dry and chewy. Portions were fantastic, but the food wasn't. I hate to give a not so positive review, especially after the kind service, but I just couldn't finish it.
