First time here - had the beef shawarma, falafel and a pita bread... all were excellent! The owner (Hasan) was very friendly and welcoming. He made the falafel and pita bread from scratch and you can definitely taste how well made it was. The beef shawarna was very tasty and well portioned! Also had the Barbosa which was so good! His wife makes the dessert ?.Will definitely go back to try other items on the menu. Great add to our neighborhood ?

We drove from Edmonton to Calgary try this restaurant. And it was beyond our expectations.Great food, Great owners, Great hospitality. They have done their best to make us feel welcomed. Giving us free tea and falafel.Totally recommend and will be back again.

A group of us were from out of town and out of all the places we've had wraps from, this was by far the best we've ever had. We also decided to try hawawshi and as many others have mentioned, it was flavourful. The salad was fresh. I'm so glad we took a chance to explore the city to find this place. We will definitely be coming back here when we are back in town!

It was just an amazing experience .. we tried the chicken shawerma wraps ( veryyyyy big sandwich & rich with flavors & add-on ), the beef shawerma wrap was very tasty with the egyptian style shawerma, pepperoni pizza was very soft and tasty.the beef kofta sandwich was the best for me, it’s very rich & tasty .. the kofta spices were amazinggggg ..The team there is very friendly & polite ..For sure it will not the late time to go there .. highly recommended.

#shawarmacairopizzaWow! I felt so welcomed and happy entering today :) The owner Hassan and his wife have owned many successful restaurants in the past and it shows. We have driven passed the former Shawarma place a MILLION times because it looked dirty and "unspecial" but as we drove by today we noticed the fresh paint, the new sign and the Canadian and Egyptian flags and thought, let's give it a try!Located next to the old Fiddler's Courtyard (now The Courtyard) on Edmonton Trail we had very little wiggle room for parking so I suggest if you aren't a good driver, park on the street! We were welcomed by Hassan who explained what the items were and we settled on Beef Kabob and Chicken Tajina. They both came with freshly baked (like right to order) Pita Breads. The rice was sooo good, I asked what was in it as I wanted to make it but it's a family "secret".They have some special Egyptian items that are ONLY available Fri and Sat and I can't wait to go try them. The other item we really want to get is their PIZZA! They said that they are implementing a Stamp System so after so many stamps you get a free one which I think is a GREAT idea especially for locals. It's so important to me to support small family businesses like this and I hope that you will go by and say "Hi" to this wonderful couple, tell them "Emi with the Blue Hair" sent you!

More is the most caring and kind person. He made my friends and I delicious food and was so welcoming. He met all of our standards and we are so thankful to have found such a great spot. Thank you for the amazing service

Hands down one of the best shawarma places in Calgary! The Service is super friendly and their platters are just amazing. Will definitely come back to get the falafel platter!

best food in Calgary, especially for late night eats, quality priced food and good service.

Really disappointed with the donairs after hearing great things. I’m not one to give one star reviews but the donair sauce was so watered down, the veggies were not fresh, but the meat was okay. We probably won’t ever come back.

Easy to find....but over priced for what you get...20 buck for food that I threw away ....and went too get pizza...I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE...
