I normally love this place, but I recently just ordered from skip the dishes and I was really disappointed. The chicken kabob was super dry, and it was almost like fat drizzled on the top of the chicken for flavour but really it was just gross. The potatoes were really over cooked, and there was barely any rice:(
Very tasty food. My favorite is the chicken shawarma platter. It is a lot of food. If you have a large appetite like me it's the perfect portion. If you're more average prepare to take some home because you won't finish. Basically I eat the whole thing then skip dinner because I'm still full. Get the garlic sauce it's super tasty and goes great on the potatoes.
The food was absolutely wonderful! Probably one of the best donairs we’ve had in a while. The staff were also very friendly too, especially Yasser. Baklava is to die for, but don’t actually die for it because then you wouldn’t be able to eat it. 10/10 donair/shawarma place
Food was extremely dry, customer service lacked tremendously. Cook could not hear the order correctly after me having to repeat it several times. Quite frankly a complete waste of my time and money. 4/10 would not recommend coming here.
I love their donair poutine.The service is always quick and people are polite and professional.They have plenty of space and seats. I never had to wait to get one.Recommended.
First time ordering from here. The chicken and beef was dry. Samosas were lacking stuffing. I got the chicken platter and it was okay at best but there are so many better options in the city. This place had good reviews so I decided to try it. My partner liked that the poutine had a lot of toppings on it. Also beef samosas had a bit of a bitter after taste not sure what that was about? It just didn’t seem like anything was fresh.
I am a shawarma addict. I LOVEEE it! So you could imagine how much I decipher one shawarma from another. That being said, the shawarma I got from here was so dry and had the tiniest amount of sauce in it! The portions were so small. The chicken was alright but still I could tell it wasn’t the freshest. Also, I ordered it off SkipTheDishes so I couldn’t have said to add more sauce, noticed if the chicken didn’t look so fresh, etc!!My conclusion is....Tasteless and food that isn’t guaranteed fresh. No thanks ?
the food is tasty, however for some reason is never made how its ordered. Doesn't matter if I'm there in person or order online. Somehow I always end up with sweet sauce instead of garlic sauce, cheese when it wasn't ordered and tomatoes even when its noted as an allergy. I understand things get busy but for this to happen every time....
Not what it used to be! Was once one of my favorite shawarma places but the last few times it’s sucked! The chicken is so dry, no longer fresh and I ordered garlic potatoes, but got no garlic sauce, so it’s just over cooked potatoes, nothing more… too bad, but so many Shawarma joints in this area that are so much better, I won’t go back anymore. Side note- sign on the door says ‘must wear face mask’ yet the woman preparing our food had no face mask on!
