We had a great birthday celebration with a great table facing the lagoon front. The food and service were excellent. The salmon was wonderful. Donât forget to get dessert; can recommend the banofee pie; it was delicious and was just the right amount. The four of us left feeling happy and satisfied with our dining experience.
My favourite restaurant in Calgary. The food is amazing, the staff incredibly kind and the patio was gorgeous. I love it also in winter because itâs very cozy.
The deck overlooking the stream is lovely, and the food and service were both great. The only think I would recommend to the owners is to provide more tables with umbrellas for groups of two-four on the deck.
Even though the location and outdoor tables with a water view was lovely, the food was not of the quality or quantity to justify the high prices being charged. The water served was lukewarm from start to finish and I went away still hungry and somewhat disappointed. While the service was friendly, it was sporadic.
Today was our first wedding anniversary! It was the perfect place to celebrate with my husband. Beautiful surroundings, quiet atmosphere
I had the Yuzu Salmon which was overcooked and both salad and salmon were overly salty. The banana dessert was delicious.
Beautiful surroundings! Amazing food! Wonderful staff!
When making the reservation through Open Table, we mentioned it was our 50th wedding anniversary and hoped we could have a âromantic tableâ on the deck. Instead of having a âreserved signâ on a great spot, we were asked âdid we want inside or outsideâ, then we had to request a different table than where they wanted to sit us. Was there a breakdown in the system? Then we waited for 15 minutes before anyone started âservingâ us. We were seriously considering leaving. However, once serving started, the service, food, and experience was terrific.
Note: It was NOT busy. It took 45 minutes to get a charcuterie board delivered as an appetizer. Two orders of the chicken bruschetta had dried, stringy, burnt chicken. The hamburger was also dried up andburnt. It got wrapped up to bring home to the dog. We did not bother complaining because it took so long to get any food, what was the point? We were hungry and just wanted to leave. But since we were still hungry from such poor food we decided to try dessert. Three choices and they were out of the one we wanted, the gelato. So we went for the chocolate wafer concoction. Don't bother. Not that tasty and a total mess to try and eat. Two hundred dollars later for four people and only one alcoholic beverage, we left, never to return.
Nice restaurant on a nice day. The wasps can always be a problem. The food is generally good but not great. The experience is satisfactory but not inspired.
