We have been a customer at Sea for over 13 years and the food has always been great. We were a bit disappointed on our last dine-in visit as the fish and chips are now served in a plastic basket with paper. This makes it feel more like a fast food take out restaurant. Please bring back the ceramic plates for dine-in service.
Such an amazing local fish and chips place to go! We ordered the Family Deal for take out and it was a great size for the 4 of us. Fish was crispy and chips were fresh. Great decor inside as well.
It was awful price is way up. They give no condiments no lemons. Asked to make the fries crispy they were limp.
I had one piece of haddock with the chowder as my side. Husband had two piece haddock and chips. Fish was pretty good. Crispy batter. Fries seemed decent. But for the love of God stop serving that chowder. Honestly inedible. Like wallpaper paste with an unpleasant overly fishy taste. Two bites and couldn't eat any more. Just awful. Although it wasn't as bad as many of the reviews say, I don't think we'll be back. Joey's is better.
Rode my bike from Riverbend to this fish and chips place. Ordered 1 pc fish with fries a plate of 1tiny fish with 6x the batter end the chips were hard az a rock. Don’t waste your hard earned money at this place. I complained to the server and told her the food was terrible and she had no comment. If you want to spend $13 for half fried batter and rock hard chips then this is the place. Total rip off.
First time ordering from here. Very impressed got a big order to feed 8 adults. Everyone really enjoyed their dinner. Will definitely be back again
We ordered here for the first time today. Was so very disappointed paid $40 for 4 pieces of small cold fish, and undercooked fries, 2 spoonfuls of coleslaw that was drowning in mayonnaise and a spoonful of tartar sauce, the whole thing was disgusting. And we did it for a treat for our 86 year old terminally I'll Mom. So please don't eat here and the girl who served us was rude and unhelpful. DONT EAT HERE
My husband ordered fish and chips and I ordered the fish sandwichMy husbands said his fish was soggy and received the smallest container of tartar sauce. My fish sandwich was soggy and not cooked. We will never order from here again
The prices have gone up quite a bit, when i got the bill the rep said we haven't updated our website yet.That doesn't seem fair.For the price the fillets we so thin, under cooked and so oily, the crust was soggy
A month ago after a disappointment many years ago we decided to give SEA another try, great food, however, we returned yesterday only to find it had gone down hill again fast, fish not cooked batter crispy on the outside, soggy mush on the inside very strong oily taste (oil in the pan not hot enough) the chips must have been all the scraps from the bottom no bigger than one inch long. We will not be returning to this POOR EXCUSE for a fish and chip restaurant, in my lifetime. My family owned a fish and chip shop in northern England, so I do know what I'm talking about.
