A good and relatively new grocery store location. The interior is cool and clean, with neatly organized produce and other goods. Has about everything you’d expect in a typical grocery store but I’d say the prices are a little high compared to others I’m used to visiting. Still, you can get what you need here as it’s also close to many neighbouring restaurants and shops around the same plaza area.
Today my 3 year old had to urgently go to the bathroom. We rush drove to our trusted save on foods .Walk all the way to the end of the store to use the washroom and low and behold you need a code that you need to get from customer service. Made our way back and one person was kind enough to walk us to the washroom, put in the secret code and allow my kid to pee. So I told the lady after and she said it is because they are preventing kids, who after school eat candy and chips in the bathroom and dont pay for them. This is poor customer experience. A poor resolution to a challenge that can be dealt with in several different ways. What if someone has to go urgently? A senior, an infant, people with stomach issues. Is the accident and experience better than the lost revenue from chips? Is this customer first or operational ease first. Its lovely they change the code every day too. Nailed it. Maybe lay off the chicken breast specials and consider the customer experience for brand growth. Pretty dissappointing experience for me, my kid almost peed outside their bathroom door. Pretty dissappointed with save on foods here. You can do better!
For some reason this location has better deals, sales and lunch items available than chaparral. You can't beat the Friday 9 dollar full rack of ribs 2 sides deal. The pulled pork and brisket are excellent as well.Nice clean bright store, very friendly staff
I have come to this store about five times now and two of those times there have been pricing errors on the items I picked. Both times was met with the same unprofessional and hostile female customer service personnel.Hire more staff to do customer service and the self check out lanes because one person can't do both while trying to fix all the pricing errors on your receipt. The store often has this week and last month's promos on items so if you are a penny pincher, this might be the store for you. Just be aware of the long wait times to get the right price and the power tripping individual in customer service. You will know who I'm talking about ;)
Washroom was closed for public, only access with PIN number by a security guard for those people who have some recently purchased receipt or product. LOL ? ? sound is funny. So buy something then go to main entrance, request for PIN number to a security guard, go washroom if you are still good and haven’t done in your p…. ???And they are looking to compare themselves with sobeys, superstores, no frills ???
Hello,I went here to get some ready to eat meals. The taco meal kit was disgusting. The butter chicken pot pie was burnt, the samosa’s dripped of oil. I have never had a worst meal in my life. This is the second time I am gave this grocery store a chance. I should have learnt my lesson from previous visit. who keeps expired moldy fruit on shelves to sell. I can’t believe this store has not shutdown. Miss Sobey’s
Should be an option to give more than 5 stars. 10 out of 5 stars for Jonathan at the meat department in this store. Such a friendly guy I will be back, thank you for your great customer service Jonathan
I had a wonderful experience at this save on foods in the meats and seafoods. A young gentleman named Jonathon was so helpful in my selection of meats. All other experiences I had at different locations never compared to the kindness and help Jonathon provided for me.
Great selection and good prices on western family products. Just as good as name brand and 1/2 the price.
Prices might be higher than other places, but they have great selections and exceptional service.
