I've been craving some jajangmyeon lately and I decided to visit this restaurant for it! The portion size was massive and the black bean sauce was delicious. It wasn't too salty, with the perfect amount of chopped onions/various meats and vegetables. I would absolutely recommend anyone to come here (definitely will be back for their other dishes!)

Excellent food?, just like we have ate in Korea! Great service and relaxing environment ?Sorry that we are new to Canada so we didn’t know the meaning of tips to show our satisfaction of the meal?.Also, the hot pot oolong tea is very tasty and heart warming ?We will come again and already shared to friends!

Portion size is excellent so is the tteokbokki and black bean noodles. Would recommend eating in versus takeout as there’s a difference in portion sizes. Most likely the best tteokbokki in the city. The food tastes extremely authentic and has the perfect amount of spice and flavour.

When you are thinking of Korean Chinese cuisines, San Dong Banjeom is giving you the best options.

A friend of mine introduced me to San Dong about a year ago and it has been a go to of mine ever since. The food is consistently tasty! The portions are huge. Best of all the staff are always super friendly and inviting! I’ve not been disappoint once

Tried this amazing restaurant on the recommendation of one of my students who is Korean. Did not disappoint! Portions were big, the food was fresh and amazing! Our server gave us recommendations, and everything was more than worth the price, especially since we had enough to eat again the next day as leftovers! The spicy seafood soup and the pepper and garlic chicken were especial favourites. Will definitely be back!

One of the very few Korean-Chinese style restaurants in Calgary that actually does it right. The food quality and portion is pretty consistent since they opened about 15 years ago.

This place is the best Korean-Chinese food in Canada to me, but my last visit was disappointed by poor customer service. There were a few tables when I got there and seemed we were the last table to place orders. After served all our food, 2 servers started eating their meal behind the cashier which is ok, but in the meantime, we wanted to order something else so we kept staring at them but we couldn't get their attention. Because they were busy eating and chatting with each other. One server was barely facing us and the other was completely facing the opposite of customers. I was wondering if they are on break time or supposed to be taking care of tables. There were no new tables after we came in, so they might have felt their job was done....of course NOT ladies. Even they didn't come to check on us after serving our food, nor other tables. I don't mind if you find some extra time to eat something but Taking care of the tables is a PRIORITY rather than eating your meal. I even tried to say “excuse me” but they didn't seem to hear me. So I gave up ordering additional food because of their poor service and left with a huge disappointment.

Got theSpicy Rice CakesSeafood PancakeBlack bean noodlesSpicy seafood noodlesThe seafood pancake was really good, very light fluffy and crispy. There wasn’t much seafood in the noodles. The spicy rice cakes contained some pieces that were hard, this might be because they were old or left out to dry before served? Or maybe frozen? But the sauce was good. The waitresses at the end were very nice! But when we first came in there was a younger waitress that seemed like she really didn’t want to be there.

Their their cripsy chicken and seafood noodle soup. Portion sizes are huge.
