What a cute little place!! First thing I thought when I walked in was how cute the restaurant was. The atmosphere was perfect for the occasion. We tried their April special, the “cherry blossom tree.” All the food we had was really amazing, and not too expensive. Our server was so sweet and such a delight to have. Would absolutely recommend this place.
We got the Langanisa and Braised Brisket Eggie, along with K-fries and sweet potato fritters.I love how this place puts twists on classics and is a blend of many different cuisines!! Super unique food and always delicious.The area itself is super cute, lots of sunlight and the booths are perfectly roomy and give you privacy without feeling closed off. Popped in for lunch today. The food was very good and even though the lunch crowd was steady, the service was quick and friendly. I ordered a dish that was new to the menu, Breakfast Cereal French Toast. Wow! Two slices of French toast, with bananas inbetween, served and garnished with bits and flavours of breakfast cereal. It was delicious. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu.
I love this cafe, the atmosphere was really nice. The place is pretty small, but the decor and vibe made everything really great. The server was really friendly and service was fast. The food was absolutely delicious. I loved that they had various versions of fries and it was sooo yummy. The beef cheek brisket was the perfect texture and flavour, I would definitely come back again.The only downside was that they were running out of ingredients by the time that we went and ran out of dessert as well. But that’s understandable and I’ll try to get the things that I missed next time.
I have already heard good things about this cafe before I came in, but all the recommendations are absolutely right! The place is so well decorated and cute, the service is perfect and this could easily be YYC's best brunch place! We ordered the Mushroom Avocado Bennie, Pork Mojito Bennie, Sweet Potato Fritters and a london fog and cappucino! They were all so delicious! I especially love the mushroom one ☺️ the pork one is unmatched as well. I believe any plate chosen will be amazing. I'm so excited to come back and try more!Another positive is that the parking is so convenient. There is a wide parking lot right behind the cafe, it's so accessible compared to difficult street parking. The community/area around it is very nice too, so after eating, you can explore around! It won't be boring. Lots of cute locations! Because the restaurant is on the smaller side, a good idea would be to call in advance and see if they're available.
I can honestly see why Sammie has a near 5 star rating. It's probably *thee* best brunch I've ever eaten. Ever. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could.My husband has been looking for a good jerk chicken since 2009 (wish I was kidding), and his jerk chicken bennie finally hit the spot. I got the egg and mushroom sammie and it was everything I hoped and dreamed it would've been. It's restaurants like this that made me wish I had a second stomach, just so I could gorge myself on more of their food.This will be, without a doubt, our new go-to for brunch!
This place was recommended by a friend. The food was delicious, service was prompt and friendly. Tried their bennie and it was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Their hot chocolate was part of the YYC Hot Chocolate Fest. Yum!Definitely call ahead of time, especially during lunch time. Called half an hour ahead of time to be on the waitlist for the 12pm lunch rush. I was told waitlist would be a 1-1.5hour wait time but it ended being a lot sooner than we expected. They called around 12pm to inform us to start heading there, and once again at 12:15 that a table was ready. There’s parking in the back. 100% would recommend!
Great little place for a sandwich or brunch! A little on the pricy side but I suppose most things are these days. I’ll be back to try more menu items ?
Delicious! What a cute little spot, with great service and food! The Cesar was amazing, probably one of the best ones I’ve ever had honestly! We tried the spicy chicken burger and then pulled pork sandwich, both so so good we had to share! Fries were top notch too! Would recommend :)
I enjoyed my time here. They have classy fast food is how I would describe this place. The waitress we had was awesome and extremely helpful. Would recommend !
