Really enjoyed our experience even though they forgot to add chicken to our nachos. I would still give it a solid 9/10. Their guacamole was honestly the best I've tasted since going to Mexico!! My partner had the Chorizo with tomato sauce and said the Chorizo wasn't spicy at all so he was a little disappointed in that but otherwise great meal.
What a nice Mexican Restaurant hidden in Bowness. Corona, chips and salsa accompanied with burritos brisket. Ohhh and I forgot to mention wonderful live music playing and such a lovely stuff working in there! There is no reason for me to not to come back. Thank you so much for a great dining experience and we will be back again!
Man....I have heard of this place for years and never been.... until tonight. Wow. The food was incredible, the atmosphere makes you almost (almost) forget you're in Calgary. Great beverages and (again) fantastic food. Apparently live music on the weekends! What a great way to spend a sunny day, with tacos and margaritas and music! Minus the ocean you would think you're on vacation!
This is hands down the best Mexican in Calgary! I’ve been coming here for a long time, but the last visit was particularly special!Thank you Alex for making us feel extremely welcomed and cares for on our visit. I am thankful for the service you gave to me, my sister and my son… and also for my friend the next week when I came back!The food is always incredible and the service is always fantastic. Been going here weekly now with my wife for the past several months. Every week we get the dinner for 2 Taco special. Tacos are amazing and super fresh tasting! Food is very consistent and rarely disappoints. We have lived in Bowness for 2 years now, our only regret is not trying this place sooner!Gluten free tacos are available and dairy free options are also available.Highly recommend!
The food was VERY good. We had nachos, quesadillas, and tacos. It was authentic and delicious, and there was a pleasantly decorated but modest interior. The food was reasonably priced and the service was friendly. I recommend Salt & Pepper.
The service was stellar. And I enjoyed every aspect of my plate. Not a speck was wasted. I hope to come back very soon. I tried the beef brisket burrito and in gonna be craving it again.
Enjoyed lunch with my partner here for the first time despite living in Bowness for a year, I’ve been missing out! Ordered the Chicken Mole Enchiladas and the whole meal was fantastic, as were the margaritas! The server kept our drinks full and the atmosphere was great as well. Will be back!

We ordered pick up at 7:50 for 3 orders of tacos and an enchilada. 2 of the tacos were in corn tortillas and there was barely any meat in them. For $16.95 you would expect more meat. Maybe a teaspoon of meat on eat taco if that. The other order was on a flour tortilla also with barely any fish in it for $18.95. I have eaten here before and remember the portion sizes being very generous. So for $75.00 I expected not to be hungry still.Not very happy. I assume because they were closing at 9 they were running out of protein so didn’t have enough, so they should have contacted us to change the order!
