Cannot recommend this coffee shop enough! The staff is super friendly, lattes are awesome, and they give discounts to staff from local businesses. Their muffins are always fresh & they also have a super tasty vegan chick-pea panini!

An authentic coffee house. Great espresso drinks, friendly service, low key relaxed atmosphere. Out of the way location in a cool, funky part of Ramsay. Fun outdoor seating.
Rosso is a very cozy coffee shop with great coffee in a place you never expect! I visit Calgary often and my brother took me here otherwise I would have never looked for a coffeeshop inside a parking lot next to an industrial lot. Don't come here expecting a fancy location but come for great coffee!
This incredible jewel of a café in Ramsay, has wonderful service, lovely ambiance and my favourite .... An outdoor sitting area where you want to linger.
Latte was great 5/5, BUT…the design of the space is not intended for work/school/chilling. Seating is uncomfortable, wifi is 5-10Mbps, no power outlets nearby. Expected a bit more, coffee wasn’t cheap, but good value for the quality.I guess they don’t want people to camp out here? I disagree with this business decision if that’s the case. It’s not like they don’t have space, it’s only max 1/8 full.For my purposes I wouldn’t come back…I can find a Starbucks that fills these criteria. Maybe I’m not their market. This is unfortunate because it makes it hard to support local businesses over corporations.
This place is amazing! They offered the best coffee and showed the best attitude to its costumers. This place is indeed perfect for studying and chilling out. Will go again. I only popped in to get take-away latte, but I was struck by how friendly the service was. The latte/cappuccino and mocha were wonderful too! And very well priced. Thanks for the amazing customer service!
Wonderful coffee shop nestled into the Dominion building in Ramsay.Recommend- Mocha and the breakfast sandwich.The coffee is classic Rosso with the quality you expect from the brand.The shop is not the biggest but they have done a great job with the space with plenty of single tables to get some work done or meet with someone. The ambiance is probably the weak point but they make up for it with a homie and indie feel.The highlight for me was the smooth mocha made to near perfection. And have to say the breakfast sandwich was excellent. Would highly recommend it anytime of the day. It is perfectly sized to be just big enough to satisfy your appetite without putting you to sleep.So if you are in the neighbourhood definitely worth checking out!
My girlfriend Judit and I stopped in today while on a walk around Ramsey. My experience with all Rosso locations is always 5 stars, but today it was extra special. While we were waiting for our coffee's we were looking through the pour over options, coffee grinders, scales, etc. The Manager Derek came out from the back to chat with us and see if we had any questions. He was super friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. He took time to answer all our questions and engaged in conversation about the origins of some of Rosso's coffee beans, methods to ensure a better cup of coffee, and lightened things up with a little laughter. And, never did we feel pressured to decide on anything. We left very impressed with that little session of "social contact" we had with Derek, because quite frankly...this rarely happens these days. If other places took the time to engage with customers like Derek did today, then customers would feel respected, valued, and appreciated. Derek is just one of the many reasons Rosso is the best coffee spot around.Hoping David, Cole, and Jessie read this :)Ric P
Was initially impressed with Rosso's online reward system, was close to having enough to be redeeming points and logged into to see that they've now upped every thing to be more than double the amounts of points required to redeem something. I get inflation, I really do. But more than double the points required is a bit much in one go.
